    Ive done this same thing apart from alot more bait. Ive used himalayan rock salt in clumps and as much ground and clumps. Not sure if ive used enough tho.
    Ive noticed today after couple months i think, that the tops had a thick layer of mould.
    Ive taken the mould away. But not sure if its ok, or what to do.
    Should i leave the lids on or add more salt. Or just not worry about it.

      Hence I used the super fine grade himalayan as it coats the particles and dispearses much quicker creating a saline solution equalling PVA friendly.
      Pay a little extra buddy I promise it will make life much easier in preservation.
      Good luck for the year ahead 👌

      @@carpcampcook do you think whats happened to my particle will be still ok to use. I mean i looks fine, smells sweet. So im guessing its probably ok. 👍

      Yes buddy it will be fine, if its smells sweet it's fermenting which I'd a major plus. If your worried, mix up some normal table salt with water and tip it in your bucket and coat everything, this will further preserve without spending on fine salt, or even go B&M and just buy a tub of himalayan from there £1.09 tip it in with water to fill above your particle, it will last for years.

    Some people don't scrimp on high quality boilies, some don't scrimp on rock salt.

    Hi mate just about to do some particle how much salt would you add to 5kg particle for preservation

    • @carpcampcook
      @carpcampcook  Před 2 měsíci

      At least a kilo pal, don't use table or cooking, pink himalayan is the best

    • @carpcampcook
      @carpcampcook  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Put the salt in the particle water when they have cooled overnight to disperse into all the particles
