This is on the transcendental platform when we talk about Prem or Love. Because on the material platform, there is no real love, everything here is only lust one kind or another.
This love or Prem between the Lord and His devotees is never one-sided. It is reciprocal. As the devotee fully surrenders to the Lotus feet of the Lord and give his everything to Him. Similarly the Lord Krishna also always wants to serve His dear devotees. Rather, in the words of Gurudev Krishna, he always runs behind his devotee with the hope that he might get some opportunity to serve Him.
That is why Lord brings milk for Madhavendra Puri or Radha Rani brings sweet rice to rupa Goswami and so many such incidents are there.
Here in this video of today, we are discussing a similar incident that happened in the recent past when Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaj was in His preaching mission at Mayapur.
One of the very close associates of Gurudev at that time, His Holiness Bhakti Vikas Dandi Swami has revealed this pastime to the world.

Maharaj slapped him because he made everyone worried, everyone was searching for him as he didn't come back on time.

@@AchintyaBhakti With all due respect I think perhaps there was another reason.
I have personally met Maharaj and I know for sure he could read everyone's mind. So if Vaisnav Das had got lost Maharaj would have known that and would not slap him for that.
Maharaj never showed that he had this ability of knowing another person's mind.
