And thank you Nick to show us this nice little cosy camper i like those little ones but the bigger them also i can hardly wait what you have in stock for us next time
I’m really interested in the Boxstar 540 - compact enough to use every day, wide enough for me to sleep in (I’m 6’4”) and well-equipped enough to go off-grid for two days. Add a towbar and I can take my boat with me… Great review, Nick.
THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR IS UK DRIVERS SIDE OPPOSITE sink, air hatch, captains chairs , table , bed , burners , sink , central heating , dashboard fridge , toilet, sink, shower shore power 220v , casste toilet
Limited edition colors are pretty damned cool! I purchased the 2003 50th anniversary edition Corvette. It had a special burgundy/maroon color. Like always, after buying it, I saw Corvettes all over the place... but never saw one with my color. Neat. (City of half a million people.)
Great value compared to the VW at around £75k without the bathroom, but the side door was designed for the left hand drive market as it's on the wrong side for UK users. Look at other vans destined for our roads and the sliding side door is always on the nearside. Good video, as always!
They travelling seats look so upright and don’t look like they could be adjusted backwards because of the toilet compartment. Would also be good if the bed folded out into seating
It’s strange it’s right hand drive but the home door is on the right. It would mean on serviced pitches you will have to nose in so not have much of a view of the site you are on.
What concerns me about these base vehicles is the exposed fixing screws for the tops of back doors. They look like they would make life easy/easier for someone to break in. Probably wrong but they do look vulnerable to me.
none of these features are new in Australia. In fact they have been manufactured locally and have been available in Fiat Ducatos that are very common hire motorhomes here in Australia for years
Drew is very nice. Color on outside is very nice paint job. But I do not understand why 4 chairs. I can only use one chair at a time. I never want to carry more then one person in a van. That space should be used for microwave, storage/closet/cabinet or a washing machine. No extra chairs needed. There is no more in van life for extra chairs.
Good review as always Nick. The van is ok for a weekend or while travelling on a long trip to save hotels etc. I’m just not a Fiat fan as a platform in North America as they are underpowered & don’t stand up well the our snow, ice, & salt on the roads.
nice looking van, hopeless for any extended touring, 2 burner cooker that it? personal I think an oven is essential but 3 or 4 burner to actually cook food and make a cupper, lots of sites don't have electrical hook ups or wont run 240v kettle, so kettle on the stove is all I carry, that leave 1 burner to cook food for 2 adults and sometimes grand kids I think not, who are these vans aimed at???
@@alrightdave6135 oh I understand that, i can manage without an over but wouldn't want to, regardless for a van that is supposed for be for touring and staying in and has beds for three 2 burners is just not sufficient, and I have tried, it is just not possible to cook for 3 people proper meals on 2 burners, snack stuff ok, but anything else forget it, it really only caters for the "day Van" brigade, but then I am not buying one, and didn't for just those reasons, told the dealer that it was not fit for purpose
Hi I'm Ezio from Sicily Catania, I saw on you tube the van tour tour : Knaus Boxstar 600 street very nice, I want to know if the same van I have other models if they have 5 seats approved and with tilting bed above the dinet. Thank you. Appearance confirmation. Thank you.
I think they should have made a seperate water tank for a recirculation water shower. A straight shower that is easy to use a squeeze is better. Do not need a sink in bathroom. But they do need a real shower where both hands are free to shower. I do not not want to have to shower with one hand. And the other hand holding down a sink handle . Where is the rod to hang up swim suit or scuba gear ? Shower curtains do not work well in a small space.
Excellent use of space, within the confines of a standard panel van shell….. Typically superior German, clean lines and obvious quality, a sad fact compared to UK products…. and a quantum leap ahead of any built over the pond… 😎
I think this is a really nice van and the colour is great but..... I still don't get why you would build a van that can take 4 but really only sleeps 3!??? 🤔
Tragic that US manufacturers are so behind in their thinking and builds to what Europeans are making. We're stuck with too big, too bulky, too dated, WAY too pricey.
Nice but not worth 58 Grand nil grill nil oven, nil separate shower cubical ext ext, total rip off for chipboard, plywood, handles and a camping stove.. Say the van cost 28 Grand no way is there 30 grand of materials and labour went into that build. Buying a touring caravan for half that price you get total luxury. Can also purchase a Static Caravan new for less than that Fix It Again Tony Van.
not impressed with this layout were did they get the base model from europe doors on wrong side awning on wrong side not very professional build design i get its not a camper but a day van first and foremost could maybe spend a night in it and make a coffee in the morning
Well tbh I would rather sleep naked on a roundabout than spend a night in that...dreadful layout.......I will stop there...ps you could tell the youtuber was struggling to spin this one lol
Hi Nick. Love the colour, swivel front seats, multi purpose aft cabin. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
And thank you Nick to show us this nice little cosy camper i like those little ones but the bigger them also i can hardly wait what you have in stock for us next time
Nice vehicle. I like the versatility, and the colour is great.
Aloha; thanks for these Nick - always enlightening. Mahalo
I like the versatility. Week day hauler, but a weekend getaway.
Wow small and Sweet Van Nick Sir.. Impressive Van... Wonderful.. Filled with tech... And Dashing today Nick Sir.. God bless you..
This is a great motorhome! I really like the versatility 😁
Wow love the blue color, of this cute RV.
Nice to see you back on motaholic Nick good tour as always. It’s a nice little campervan
Thanks 👍
That’s a really stylish looking van. Love it. Great video. Keep it up. Few more subscribers to go.
Nice video
Thanks

Absolutely perfect everyday use van. Ideal well thought out camper👍👍
Very nice 😍
Very nice 👌
Finally watched the Aqua livestream. When you finally get to come visit us in the States you should check out some motor homes too
Just love your speaking accent ❤️
The size and color had me. I don't have to install a bike rack is sure nice.

Very nice but, would've liked proper side windows in the bedroom area for that extra bit of natural daylight. Colour is fantastic!!
This is fantastic. Ideal for my UK photo trips away. Now who can lend me £58k? hehehe
They travelling seats look so upright and don’t look like they could be adjusted backwards because of the toilet compartment. Would also be good if the bed folded out into seating
I know late to the party. But I would like to see a bed being able to just use half, so you can sleep with bike in.
I cannot abide by shower curtains in a van. They annoying cling to you when taking a shower.
Nice
Another great video as usual. Keep em coming 😎
Thanks! Will do!
It’s not the same shade, but when I saw the color, I could hear Tyler Hoover saying, “Nassau Blue!”…
I drove past Nick Whale earlier and was thinking I hadn’t seen one of your videos for a while, get home and here it is. Nice van.
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@MOTAHOLIC of course!
Nice review as always. Would like to know the weight of these Motorhomes as depends when you passed what you can drive.

Very nice. Wonder about the practicality of that sliding door being on the wrong side for those of us who drive on the left though.
Snowflake shut up! Jesus!
How can any door be on "the wrong side" when we are dual humans!
Left hand drives have their sliding doors on the right. They're designed slightly differently
Good

The metal is too thin. Gets eaten by rust everywhere North of Normandy

It’s euro spec. Continentals don’t want an oven.

Mantapp 🇲🇨
You could use the dining table to prepare food.
Wow that’s cool
I love that blue and black on outside of van. What is name of that blue?
Myself and a friend built his full time van life camper for around €22k. If you included a brand new Merc Sprinter, it wouldn't cost €50k.
You'd rather hope that building one yourself would be cheaper... 🙂
Labor cost?
those bed looks like its gonna collapse

Powerstep on a van, must be like a Passerelle on a 30 foot yacht.. some may want it / pay for it

You missed the toilet ..Right? Or this one lacks one?
This toilet compartment? 4:33
I am always amazed at how much more modern European RVs are compared to USA's manufacturing
how is this different from every every other conversion
Hello. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
How much.
The fact that this doesnt have an oven is a SLAPPABLE offense. They were PURPOSELY trying to make a HUGE downside.
Excellent use of space, within the confines of a standard panel van shell….. Typically superior German, clean lines and obvious quality, a sad fact compared to UK products…. and a quantum leap ahead of any built over the pond… 😎
I asked last weekend, and now I receive! I think I almost like the Motaholic tours better than the yacht tours. Almost...
....☝❤✌👍😁
I think this is a really nice van and the colour is great but..... I still don't get why you would build a van that can take 4 but really only sleeps 3!??? 🤔
@Heartsongsutube True, it is more versatile than a normal one but at the end of the day it's a camper primarily.
Tragic that US manufacturers are so behind in their thinking and builds to what Europeans are making. We're stuck with too big, too bulky, too dated, WAY too pricey.
Honestly all the DIY vans I have seen through videos look better than these "pro build" campers. Awful use of space and has no charm at all

As nice as these motor homes are I just couldn’t part with my money for a Fiat .
Sorry but for the price a bit of a rip off. Australian money you would get everything shower toilet

drive fiat for a living so i would never buy one filters always need cleaning and the turning circle is useless
I think I wanna see the engine. Raise of hands for those who want to see under the hood?

It would be great if Nick said what kind of license you need to drive them.
I totally agree and have started doing that in my newer videos. 🙂
