- This is my Japanese farm homestay experience! I spent the night in an old Japanese farmhouse, and woke up at 4am to harvest soybeans out in the fields! Farmstays are always such a cool experience, recommend you try one if you have the chance🌾

Thanks for stopping by! Apologies for the delay in video uploads, launching a business has proven to be quite time consuming haha. We've gotten into the swing of things so regular video uploads will resume! Thanks for your patience always❤️
We see you, Hiro-san! Surprising us by speaking English like a native like it's nothing!
Didn't expect Hiro-san to speak English that well lol.
Nori-san has a nice smile. For some reason he looks like an anime protagonist in a slice of life farm anime about a man who leaves his 9-5 corporate job to work at his family farm.
Seeing those tiny Japanese pickup trucks make me irrationally happy!
Lol, fogging camera looks like a cool affect for ending.
Nori's place is so beautiful! I loved the story about the family lanterns. Could quite happily live there.
Ya, I wouldn 't mind living in a farm house.
The fogging lens occurring while Hiro-san left made it seem like he was an angel or something leaving from a dream 😂
"I haven't seen the sunrise in years"
Sharla is a hero. Scared of heights - still goes on a roller coaster. “That dark basement of the abandoned power plant is scary - let’s explore it!”. Needs to wake up at 4 a.m.? Sharla appears fresh and shining with a smile! Compare to Chris who filmed a whole scene about how hard it is for him to wake up for the fish market.
I'm Japanese but I've never been to Yamagata and harvested dadacha beans. It looks really fun!!
Ask Chris Broad about the difference between soy beans. He is an expert. They even had him on Japanese tv ;D
"I haven't seen the sunrise in years. I usually go to bed at this time if anything." - I felt this in my soul. 😂
I'm a total edamame nerd, thanks for showing us the behind the scenes! Awesome stuff!
My goodness, it’s beautiful there. I’m starting to learn Japanese because of you! ☺️
I really appreciated Hiro's subtle nodding. Like "Yeah, that's exactly my story, I approve"
Hiro's English though!!! He must of lived overseas for some time because he sounded like a native speaker, i was so impressed
Its produce as it should be. People know the value of fresh picked produce. Its sad that in Australia consumers think a punnet of strawberries that is only harvested 3 months in the year by hand should only cost $2. It shouldnt be cheap. I loved being in Japan and seeing the respect they provide their home gròwn produce.
Sharla is honestly such a pro in doing important and meaninful work, she's so respectful and just a joy to watch.
