Anno 2070 - 2500 Executives speedrun (Jorgensen Plateau) former world record [

I am very sorry for the lag. Apparently my computer couldn't handle the game sped up all the time. This was my first attempt so I only noticed afterwards and for obvious reasons I do not want to throw away this recording.
As far as the run goes there are definetly ways to speed it up. As I said this was my first attempt and looking at this it seems very supid at times :)
I should for example very rarely use compact building layouts like I do when playing casually. The given map is so huge it is just painful to watch me arrange those distillerires when you can literally just put them anywhere ... rip. Also why the hell did I bother at all about quests??? I lost so much time there .
The former world record was set playing Ecos and while it's true that getting them to Executives is a little easier it is not faster imo. The Islands on this map line up very well for Tycoon production as you can see in the video. Also you dont need to waste any time or resources on eco balance.
I hope you could enjoy despite the lag. Maybe I'll do it again. Something arround 50 minutes should definetly be possible.

In case you wonder, the video is not sped up. This is normal speed. The game has an ingame feature to use time lapse, which is alowed in the speedrun. My Mouse movenments and everything I do are real time.
Also I'm really sorry for the fps drops. My Computer couldnt handle the game and recording at the same time. I only noticed this after I was done because I didnt use time lapse when I was testing the recording quality. Normally I would remake the video but you can't really do that with a speedrun :/

How to add the accelerate button ??

You can see it at the very start of the game actually. Generally you can drag and drop any building or function to the bottom middle of the screen. Same goes for the fast forward button you can find in the menus on the bottom right.
If you need a lagfree view of it, I just released a new speedrun video for the same category :)

yes I'm sorry for that. I didnt notice any performance issues while playing this was just the recording. So I only noticed when it was too late.

the speed up is an ingame feature and allowed for the speedrun. The time it took me to go into the options at the game start in order to speed it up is included in the time :)
