Thank you for sharing! I've been looking at one of these kits and this is the most daunting part of it for me, polishing metal really is a whole different ballpark from wood finishing.
I agree I just finished the Traditions 1842 Kit last night, much of that kit is metal polishing and finishing and I agree 100% with your assessment. But its been fun and I cant wait to get out on the range and shoot.
