Tbh I’ve been playing inscription for a while in Kashtira, and results have been insane, even if it is not shifter, not being able to either summon from grave or activate effects from grave + the amount of handtraps you play is great.
Also, it is good to play either going 1st or second, since you can easily break boards with Kash engine.

@@ErinMT2 depends on hand, if I think I’ll need birth from grave that turn then activate effects from grave, if not, ss from grave.
I think you're underselling cosmic against pure Snake-eye. If they have flamberge, temple and a backrow I:P you're not going to target I:P, you banish the temple. They still use flamberge and get I:P, but you deprive them of the value of the field spell which is huge in the grind game where VS wants to be.
Curious to see what your take om the vanquish soul deck would look like. You tend to explain things really well and give a in depth explanation on what you are playing and why as well as lines certain plays for certain matchups. Thanks for showing vanquished soul some love
I played vanquish soul today at the UK Open in cardiff, looking at this list im quite sure his topping is a result of winning die roll a lot, and in matches where he lost, he opened shifter. Nothing against that, really interesting to see 3 caesar. I've come to appreciate how strong a non-targeting destroy every turn is

Yeah only saving grace of this build is the 3 durendal, they are incredibly good going first and stupid good going second, outside of that i dont see myself going to any tournament with this
I remember seeing his deck against vv at the regional, it was a super tough match and it the opponent had jougen
I went to that regional event, my friend got 4rth place on floo, and my other got 13th i think on branded. The regio was only semi-rough, and not Mass fire decks from my experience.
My breakdown at the Niagara Regio was vs 3 Kash, 2 Floo, 2 pure snake eye and 1 rescue ace running poplar and oss. My score was 5-2-1 and i misplayed probably 100 million times playing pure snake-eyes, which is the reason for tie, but i did end up 31st which is nice.
Maybe my experience was different than the average but i got shiftered ALOT lmao

Hasn't Josh just a few weeks ago opined that Jet Synchron was merely an _option_ for Snake-Eyes and that cutting it gave you more Extra deck space which could be filled with other utility cards?

He’s playing 4 shifter. Watch closely. 3 are in the deck when he drops the 4th

Bricksoul is a deck that will top once in a while because there is just a lucky guy that didn't brick for once.
They really need a consistency card in my experience. Having to rely on small world and Durendal is whats keeping it from putting up more tops.
Mad love remakes that can search stake your soul will be bumped vanquish soul into actual contender

He fumbled the bottom card from the stack. Look right before, only one card was left prior to him yeeting it
That was 100% a fourth shifter watch the footage close, all 3 were in the deck stack and that was a fourth one 100,000,000% fourth sleeved shifter
@@BigCheechin if you slow it down you can see that when he puts the vanquish soul spell and trap on top of his deck after showing them, he picks up the whole deck, and the bottom card flies out (which we know was a shifter)
And as Sean said, there was clearly only 1 card left before he did that.
Santoli literally always plays bad decks
He won YCS Indianapolis with Sinful Spoils Rescue ACE, which was a top 3 deck after the Ariseheart ban.
Neither Vanquish Soul or Voiceless Voice are bad decks.
That's just show he's a great player. Similar like Josh, playing non standard decks but winning anyway
