Portland family of alleged abductor ponders fleeing community as disgrace takes toll

- OCTOBER 18, 2021: The family of Davian Bryan, the Portland man who allegedly abducted nine-year-old Phylisa Prussia and who has been implicated in the disappearance of another girl, said that they are now living in fear after receiving death threats. Sixty-five-year-old Herbert Bryan, who fought back tears on Sunday during an interview with The Gleaner outside of his Norwich residence, said that since his son ran afoul of the law, he, his daughters, and his common-law spouse have had sleepless nights.

Jamaica don't have think twice laws. No man that abduct a child should see the light of day anytime soon. If the abduct and rapes her, he should serve life in prison. We don't pet monsters. Many of Jamaican laws when it comes to theft, murder, and sexual assault needs to be revised. May the death penalty needs to come back for people to start thinking twice.

If it's a crime that can result in jail time. They can ask the PUBLIC DEFENDER to help, by providing a lawyer. It's just too tough for this man; to the point that he has no money remaining.
