I saw a fight between a big strong girl vs a speedy and strong guy...sometimes being the fast skinny guy helps it didn't help this time. Plenty of times I have faced against guys supposedly "bigger" than I am but in tight situations I escaped pin opportunities and ended up putting a reversal on the supposedly big person

You are right but also it is unfair for boys... their male pride are mercilessly exposed to risk. When a boy is defeated and pşnned by a girl in front of crowd including family, friends and even may be girlfriend it is a huge humiliation; moreover, when it happens it is immediately uploaded in youtube under the title "girl pins boy" ... it means "Come here I girl is so strong and pin the boy" and also "look to the boy who is so weak to be pinned by a girl"... and if the boy wins... nobody out of this channel uploads it. These boys are used to give chance and to enhance the performance of girls. The low number of gşrl wrestler must not be seen as a problem to solve by using these boys as sport materials.
If he puts on bulk he will just wrestle heavier/stronger opponents who are used to carrying that weight.. huge disadvantage usually to go up in weight class.
@@holeefook3149 he is not in his natural weight class, he is too skinny... if he puts on weight esp muscle he would be a lot stronger, he looks weight drained. He'd be better off wrestling within his natural weight class, than trying to be a weight bully... and staying at his current weight class.
Very cool video! The boy won this match -- I scored it 9 - 6 his favor? This was a boy-girl match where all the cards were mostly in the girl's hand but for some reason she still lost? Maybe a good example of how hard it is for girls to win against boys? Certainly I'd guess that she was older (senior or junior?). This boy is still so skinny and not fleshed out yet -- had to be a freshman? He'll probably fill out and develop a lot more upper body strength by next year -- but if he is serious about wrestling he has to start hitting the weights big time -- he was not strong enough to turn her over. So, I think really that boy was fortunate to win because his only advantage was his quickness & agility. The girl was older, more experienced, heavier, maybe stronger too. So, give that boy a LOT of credit -- I'm sure that his coach & team were pleased and surprised! (Why is there ALWAYS some guy bellowing out advice for the girl?)

Speaking as someone who has been that supposedly smaller person. Sometimes victory is not determined by the weight, strength, or height. It's determined by how fast you are. If supposedly bigger person has me on the ropes and I find a way out I'm taking it without hesitation and get that reversal and I'm getting that pin usually speed gets me there

That's the reason why the match took so long

He is probably more naturally suited to 113 or 120 but they have him wrestling 132 in this here. His team probably has better wrestler at that 120 so they bumped him up to avoid a forfeit at 132. In the end it worked much better than they planned because he won!

I think this is a strong indication that the original owner didn't change - the video shows kind of boy power (even at that young age). Perhaps the owner tries to upload more controversial videos or tries to increase the numbers of viewers what would be nice. Or he wants to give the videos names that don't immediately include the outcome so more people click on them in the expectation that (as is common with YT and distorting reality) the girl will win. Then the boy wins.

Her weight is coming from muscle and fat, that she has built up... while his weight is mostly from his skeletal frame/bone.. if he had a higher BMI or the same BMI that she does, and added muscle to his frame he would be a lot bigger, they wouldn't be in the same weight class... and 2 it wouldn't of been this much of a struggle to beat her. She's in better shape than him for Wrestling.
In football ...with powerbacks or running backs like Barry Sanders, or Marshawn Lynch.....that are short and stocky.... even though they were smaller/shorter guys, they had a higher bmi for there size, and a lower center of gravity... making them much harder to bring down/tackle... the same kind of concept is at play here.. in this video.

Agreed. The 106 wt class is the ONLY class where a girl has a slim chance. Many wrestlers in this class weigh less than 95 lbs.
