Did you notice any difference between the mid and high handlebars? Are they an upgrade over stock?

Upgrading your bars (no matter the bend) will most likely be an upgrade. I have decent seat time with the pro taper mids and they definitely reduce arm pump/fatigue.
I don’t have seat time with the high bend just yet but they do put me in a more upright position on the quad which is what I wanted.

I’m 5’7. Not a big dude. The mids sit too low for my liking. They are fine for shorter rides. The high bend is just right for me. Riding position is much more comfortable.

They sit at the same position but the bend is lower. This made me lean too far forward when riding. Bar rises + mid probably would be perfect.

I hear you. I believe there are cheaper solutions out there but urmosi is 🔥 for my scenario it’s perfect.
