O metro de São Paulo é sim muito bom. Não ouso a dizer que é o melhor, porque não é, mas é bom. Muito mais limpo e moderno que NY ou Londres. Trens passam a cada 3 minutos. Não temos tantas linhas mas triplicamos nos últimos 20 anos. Muita gente critica sem nem conhecer, por puro preconceito.
Se ve como una gran ciudad, posiblemente la única que le compita cara a cara a la ciudad de México, entre esas dos se disputan el. Título de la mejor ciudad desarrollada de América latina
Loved this! Thanks for posting it. I did a study-abroad year in Sao Paulo wayyyyyyy back in the 70's. None of my American friends even knew where it was! Since then, we have so many Brazilians in LA that....well...people know. But this vid gives me saudades for Brasil...and makes me want to revisit.

@@Dragoncam13 No, it didn't. That was just one neighborhood, La Roma and this earthquake wasn't nearly as bad as the huge one they had in the 80's where over 100k people died. I used to live there and have friends there still. The city is not destroyed.

Beautiful city, amazing city, wonderful time in the city of Sao Paulo, ( São Paulo, Sampa, Pulista, eu amo!!)
I remember visiting this city last July. There were many things to do, and the metro system was very convenient because some places were long distance. So there was easy access to visit the important sites that all tourist want to visit. Some places that I enjoyed going was Avenida Paulista, Liberdade, Ibiraquera Park, Beco do Batman, Mercado Muncipal, and São Paulo Aquarium. Those are the only places that came into mind.
I love Brazil. Such a wonderful country!

Beautiful Sao Paulo, on top of all the things that the video mentioned about Sampa one of the main things that it was missing is how green the city is and though it is an enormous metro area, you're never too far from green spaces in Sampa. Beautifully made video Expedia. Obrigado

When I first visited São Paulo approx. 10 years ago I really hated it - traffic jams from morning to the night, hectic, skycrapers until the horizon - horrible!
Meanwhile I have been there a couple of times and I like it more and more. There are a couple of nice and not so crowded places where you do not feel to be in a 12 mio. Inhabitants city.
In terms of food São Paulo is one of the best places you can find. The variety is so huge - whether you like grilled Brazilian meat, seafood, pasta or especially Sushi you will find lots of excellent and (at least for Europeans) not so expensive restaurants in São Paulo.
I use to describe São Paulo the following way:
"It's much better Inside than it looks from outside".
I live in São Paulo and what I like most about buildings is covering the horizon HAHAHAHA
