There is no GAIN knob on Channel A & B on Traktor DJ 2 iPAD app?
Does the GAIN knob on the controller still work?

Does the controller map by itself when connecting to the iPad?
If so, does this happen with all Traktor controllers?
It’s plug & play but not with all controllers, just a few is compatible with the Traktor app
So can we run it without having the adapter? Like with DJayPro if you have the camera tool for the IPad we can charge and connect Traktor S3 at the same time. I wonder if that’s the case for Traktor DJ 2
Yep, you just need your lightning cable, directly on Kontrol S3.
A heads up, at the moment IOS 15 does not support Traktor DJ connecting to the Kontrol S2 or S3.
Yup. Like every year, we have to be careful and not upgrade iOS and Mac OS X devices before that brands say it’s ok. 👍
Does the red/white RCA input in the back work also when the iPad is connected? (With the S4 mark2 it did not)
On this on it won’t too, pretty sure.
Can you use the external input in a "Through" mode so the fader and eq knobs with a external device?
You mean the channel D with line/mic input ?

Nice video! Do you know if it is possible to use the same hot cue points and saved loops like on Traktor Pro 3 with Laptop when you sync your iPad with the iTunes library on the computer / Mac?

Two different library.
I know what you meant, like Rekordbox DJ, one soft and one app with the same data base, but Traktor DJ 2 and Traktor PRO 3 are separated 🤷♂️

Yes. You can have your playlist in iTunes and take them from here into Traktor
Can you use soundcloud through the ipad
I don’t think so with Traktor DJ 2.
But you can download the app and see by yourself. I don’t use Soundcloud, I really prefer having my own tracks on a physical device.

Sampler cannot be used because there is no sampler in Traktor dj 2

Yup, for the computer version of Traktor I suppose.
For some reason my ipad air doesn't recognise the s3?
Did you try to change/switch the cable ? Do you have the newest update of Traktor Dj 2 and newest firmware of the Kontrol S3 too ?
@@DJSTUFF yep everything is new and have tried a few different cables and tried using an apple adaptor, native instruments just emailed saying that the s3 doesn't work with DJ2 on the ipad!

When you plug things in you really need to show or at least tell us what you’re plugging them into and any adaptors used. Bummer.
