Digging the Mishimoto shifter! (I have the white one). Kinda rice, definitely people will give you shit but I like it! Not everyone can get an Evo so this takes the cake.

If you don’t have paddle shifters you can add those to your car to change gears I did to my es get one off a gts lancer

it’s a 8x1.25, i ordered this one from sick speed. you should be able to order any knob as long as it says that it comes with the 8x1.25 adaptor. i bought a black mishimoto knob from ebay and it came with 3 different adaptors.

Did you get a universal boot or did you get a boot that is specifically made for the manual version of the Lancer? Im thinking of doing this with my 05 mitsubishi eclipse

i just bought a normal shift boot and trimmed it to whatever size fit.

just twisted right off like anything else.

mine literally just twisted off! i know other lancer models they have a screw on the bottom piece and you have to slide the piece off and there’s a screw under there but mine literally just spun off.

i wanted to but my parents wouldn’t let me. they had say since this was technically my first car and they helped me with buying it and everything. plus this was the only lancer in my area at the time and it was a good deal. had to drive almost 2 hours to get it too. i either wanna manual swap this in the future or just go buy another car that’s manual since i know how to drive manual now.

@@Baileyjwebber that’s definitely different i don’t see any of those in my area. i barely even see any modified lancers. there’s like 2 evos in my area and the one guy is an asshole. i saw him at the mall the other day and he rev bombed in front of me in the parking lot and took off 🥲
