  • In this video I talk about how happy I am with the PS90! I love everything about this platform (sorry Garand Thumb)! Here's the link to the thread protector for the CMMG short barrel threaded adapter:
    www.amazon.com/dp/B09BK5S2RM?...
    If you want one in silver that fits over all the threads, here's an alternative:
    www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFLVM68?...
    Both work great, I just kept with the 'all black' look of the PS90 and used the black anodized version.
    Thanks for watching and subscribing!

    That PS90 was the most fun I’ve had at the range! I’ll have to start saving my pennies so I can get one in ten years! 😂😂

      Yeah--it's called 'lay-away'!!! First, you need to get your carry gun the same way!

    I use a Silencer Co muzzle break that has threads to accept their suppressors and love it

    Dude, get the HB Industries mini comp/thread protector.
    It's 100% the way to go.
    Also check out their low profile optic mount.
    Love my PS90.
    I just got the Huxwrx Flow 22ti and am hoping to compare it with my Dead Air Mask HD this weekend.

      Thanks for watching and your suggestion! I checked out that HB Industries website and it has some really cool stuff!
      For suppressors, I had tried my AB Little Bird and their A10 (in 5.56) as well as my SilencerCo Switchback (has 4 configurations/lengths). I ended up just dedicating my SilencerCo Switchback and leaving it in my PS90 case. The A10 was overkill, the Little Bird was too long, and the Switchback in the medium length worked perfectly! I'm on my 14th suppressor already, and will probably order more in the future for sure!

    Great video! Thanks for the comment in the other video. I am glad that you are enjoying it! My biggest hurdle is that the range is a bit of a drive, so I never get to shoot as much as I want. Looking at ammo, the new Fiocchi 5.7x28 subsonic is really little different in price than the other variants. It would be interesting to hear how much of an impact that has on the sound signature with and without ears. I am left handed and have eaten my fair share of gas face over the years, so I am already eying the Huxwrx Flow 556K mainly for its flow through. That is one of the reasons I am smitten the P90 is just because it ejects down, but I figure that with the Huxwrx Flow suppressor probably would serve me well. At any rate, I really like your channel, keep up the videos. Now you got me interested in the Hellion, I might have to poke at that as soon as my wallet will talk to me again.

      Thanks for your comments and support! I'm right handed, but I know what you're talking about with suppressors causing you to eat gas. When we shot the PS90 yesterday, we didn't notice any excess gas--probably because it's a downward ejection. But even then, when I took it apart to clean it, there wasn't any extra carbon build up on any parts where you'd expect to see it--so that was nice to see.

    What do you think of the Imperial XF-50 (Effen) billet uppers?

    • @docgsreloading7985
      @docgsreloading7985  Před měsícem

      Thanks for watching! I have seen those, and they do look cool. It’s just that the SN is on the upper, so I don’t know how that must get transferred over the the new upper so you don’t get into trouble with BATFE. Also, I hate to be all nostalgic, but I really like how the PS90 looks stock-and by stock, I also mean the short barrel.

      @elultimo102 Před měsícem +1

      @@docgsreloading7985 ---The XF-50 uppers have to deliver to an FFL, so they must have their own SN on them. BTW, they have accessory shrouds to cover 16" barrels. I wonder why they don't have a provision to install a light and a LASER next to the barrel---It would not be a major design change.

    • @docgsreloading7985
      @docgsreloading7985  Před měsícem

      @@elultimo102 Oh, that makes sense. Then the FFL must do the SN transfer from yours to the new one so they don't think it's a second gun.
      What I use is the Surefire X400 weapon light and laser combo. I just snaps on to the picatinny rail that I installed on the right and left side of the receiver. I can easily activate it with my left thumb. I'd look into that if you want. The nice thing is that I can snap it on and off without tools.

    is there enough depth to have a pic rail on both the left as well as the right side of the gun

      @docgsreloading7985  Před 5 měsíci

      Thanks for watching and your question! Yes, I have pic rail on each side and have a Surefire flashlight that I put off and on the left side when I want to.

    Hi I’m looking to SBR my ps90 as well with the Cmmg Barrel and thread adapter like you have. What is your Overall Weapon Length, wondering for when I submit my Form 1. I’ve seen varying answers online.

      I know someone who owns real P90s. If it's legal to own in your state, why not pay the $200 and get the full-auto P90 with the 10"?

      @elultimo102 only SOTs can get the full auto versions since the P90 was made after 1986
