I Lost My Cousin In A Tragic Accident

On December 14th, Jorge was just hanging out in his room, lying in his bed and relaxing after a long shift at work. All of a sudden, he received a text message from his sister. The text was one of the worst messages he'd ever received in his life, and he learned that his cousin lost his life in a car accident. Jorge was in complete shock. Later that day, Jorge went to his uncle's house to be with his family, and when he was there, he learned even more horrifying news about the accident - Jorge's cousin was drinking and driving.
Jorge had never felt such a horrible pain in his life before that moment. He had never lost someone so close to him before, and he hardly knew how to handle what he was feeling. Jorge and his cousin were incredibly close. He knew his cousin since he was a baby, and he truly felt like they grew up together. He had so many great memories of the two of them hanging out, playing video games and riding their bikes around the park. Jorge's family was very close, and there was so much love in their family.
Just a few days before he passed away, Jorge's cousin was able to meet his baby nephew, and it was such a heartwarming moment for their entire family. Jorge could hardly believe that, just days after they shared such a wonderful moment, his cousin was gone forever.
Jorge compared the way he felt to a horrible nightmare - a nightmare that you desperately want to wake up from and hope never ends up happening. Jorge found it hard to process the experience, and it was so difficult for him to watch his uncle in so much pain. Looking back, he couldn't help but feel guilt for not finding more time to connect with his cousin and make their relationship even stronger.
Through his experience, Jorge wants everyone to know how important it is to cherish every moment you have with your family and loved ones. It is still so painful for him to think, "I lost my cousin in a tragic accident," but he hopes he can teach everyone watching the importance of making all of life's moments count with the ones we love.

I lost my mother from suicide at the age of 11 at it hasn’t made a year yet. On the day it happened I felt how Jorge felt. It was like a nightmare I didn’t want to happen. But rip Jorge and Haley❤️🌹

I know what that feels like. My cousin killed himself a year ago and I can't forget the day when my dad was just like "Your cousin is dead.". I screamed and cried and asked over and over again "IS THIS A JOKE?!! PLEASE TELL ME THIS A STUPID JOKE", but no. Later my dad told me that he had killed himself, and the sad thing was he didn't tell anyone that he had suicidal thoughts. He used all his energy to hide the pain and we didn't notice how he was suffering. I saw him two weeks before he did what he did. He was happy, playing with his son. The last thing he did was that he hugged me and told me that "I love you". Then I didn't know it was the last time I'd see him.
Killing yourself doesn't take the pain away. It moves the pain to your loved ones. Suicide isn't the answer.
IF YOU EVER SEE SOMEONE LOOKING LIKE THEY'RE NOT OKAY, DO SOMETHING. ASK THEM IS EVERYTHING OK, OFFER HELP, OFFER YOUR SUPPORT. NOBODY WANTS TO FEEL THE PAIN OF LOSING SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU.

When he was talking about how he wished it was just a nightmare. I know how he feels, my dog died from a seizure that lasted 2-4 minutes. He had brain damage and no this was not his first one, he had a lot of them. I still remember the night me and my dad rushed him to the vet when I was in the back seat with my puppy shaking uncontrollably and not knowing if he was in pain. My mother wasn’t there because she was in the hospital (don’t worry she is ok.) and I was just so scared. I remember praying the whole time asking God to not let this one be the one. He did stay at the hospital for 2 nights and was hooked up to a Machine because if he wasn’t he would go back into a seizure. He died on his 2nd birthday and... that was the hardest day in my life I cried all day and night for so long. I just wanted to hear the words “he can come home” but they never came. And if you are wondering his name was.... Murphy. Gosh do I wish it was just a nightmare.

I know how you feel, I lost my dog in December of last year she have a tumor, and she couldn't go to the bathroom as easy, that day we took her to the vet to be put down she was 13 and I cry every day and night, her name was Kasey. But I did get a new dog and this will be her first Christmas in her Furever home

Cherish every moment you have with your loved ones because once there gone then all you will have left is a torturous regret. I feel you. I lost my dad a bit over a year ago in a plane crash. He was coming home from a trip he’d take yearly with his friends on a private plane, and that year it just… crashed. Something went wrong and nobody expected that the last time we’d hear his voice was through video call, or for others, earlier than that… not even his friends or the pilot survived… So many people suffered and so many others suffer everyday. So please, if you know someone who has just lost or earlier lost someone they care about, a human or animal, then please do the best you can to make them feel better. They deserve support and love, and I would know from a standpoint of being in that situation… and if you know how it feels, try to reach out and talk to others about it.
I can relate so much to him ,i lost my great aunt two months ago she was like a mother to me , she was loving , caring , sweet woman . Losing her crushed me and i still cry to this day for losing her . I remember when we came back from the funeral my eyes were so puffy and i had a really painful headache from crying . 1. Year 2000: My baby cousin Abigail died at birth.
2. Year 2003: My friend Mister Rogers died at 74 years old. My great aunt Peggy died at 78 years old.
3. Year 2006: Greg Page had to quit The Wiggles.
4. Year 2007: My grandma died at 62 years old.
5. Year 2012: My cousin Ozzy was very sick with cancer at only 19 years old.
6. Year 2013: Daddy had a stroke at work at only 54 years old. My great uncle Tony died at only 81 years old. Ozzy got even sicker with cancer at only 20 years old.

When I was about 10 one of my best friends passed away. Her house caught on fire in the middle of the night and she couldn’t get out. She had a really big family (about 11 siblings) and the didn’t have the money for fire alarms. I believe 6 of the children died. It was deviating but I got through it eventually. It takes a while but things do get better.

my friend's mother passed away just yesterday morning, and this video popped up. after watching this video i broke down remembering all the things her mother did to me. she was the sweetest person alive and i thought of her as a second mother. she had been in the hospital for months because of cancer and when i got the news that she passed away i wished i was dreaming. prayers for her please 💔🙏

I lost my grandma almost 2 years ago, I know how this feels. I would try to stay strong throughout the day but then have random breakdowns in the middle of night. Whenever I felt like I needed to share something I wasn't comfortable telling anyone else, I would go to her. She was like a personal therapist for me. It made me sad each time I saw her in bed, knowing how she was able to be in a wheelchair and then was just stuck in bed all day, I know it sucked for her. I hope she's happy, wherever she is.

I know how you feel, I lost my uncle and I barely got to spend time with him because he was working, and I lived in another city. It was very devastating to hear that news all of us wishes it was a dream. But sadly, it's not. You sure he loves you very much. No matter what happens, he's always with you 😁😭😭😭😭😭
my grandma died almost a year ago, she was super sweet and took care of me when she was there since she lived in mexico, when i figured out she died, it felt so strange to me that she was just gone, i wasn’t going to see her anymore. It’s definitely strange and i get how he’s feeling, good luck getting better, it really does get better after time.
