I don’t even think there’s a game where the areas change art style. Other than that, these would be cool ideas for future Mario games.
Your idea of a game dedicated to toys kinda reminded me of the Toy Box mode from the Toy Story 3 game.

the idea of a Mario game focused on toys reminded me ALOT of an old Mario game concept I made in like 3rd grade, where it's Mario shrunk down like in Mario Party DS and he fights school supplies

(spoilers for Luigi's Mansion 3)
Luigi's Mansion 3 should've had multiple mansions because pretty much every floor that isn't hotel themed is kinda underwhelming. They could have combined the prehistoric mesuem floor with the Egypt floor and called it "haunted museum", the mideavel floor could have been expanded to a big castle, etc..
i get that some didn't like the multiple mansions aproach but the different themes the mansions had could only have worked if they where sepperate because now with the hotel it doesn't feel like one place anymore, it feels like multiple mansions stacked on top of each other
