If you use the turret (use the first mod, not flame turret) with four piece tacticians talent it will build up the bonus which will make your turret more powerful and will stay until you throw your seekers which also get the bonus before it resets. Was able to solo Times Square on legendary this way with my skill build. Very powerful. Also make doing Lexington on challenge pretty easy too.

Btw whats your cool downs on that build?
Upora Seekers are around 15-16 seconds but will get down to around 13 as the turret starts to proc the talent again. The turret cool down is around 20, but that lowers as well. It recharges well before it expires so you can constantly throw it out unless a heavy kicks right away.
What set pieces and weapons do you use to be able to farm Legendary Time Square? :-O I'm trying to build some PVE monster to be able to solo a lot of content.

I love Tactician, have been using it since 1.4 dropped. I use it in a more defensive manner in a squad with a a support ammo station but this is a good offensive set as you so expertly displayed. Nice job, you earned a sub!

I also was able to complete Lexington on challenging. Was using only 37% skill haste. But lots of skill power. Btw the turret does work great to build up those tact bonus hits. Great vid.
That is crazy and looks like a lot of fun. I need to spec more into electronics.
I use the Pulse Turret with Airburst Mine and the Urban MDR. For some reason while the Urban MDR is equiped the distracted talent applies to the turret giving the turret 18% more damage when it shoots at NPCs who have status effects. Pretty sweet.

I've been soloing this for a bit now, I've gotten my bullfrog up to 500k dps, and barely have to use medkits. Just trying to get that damn MDR! It had the nerve today to give me another ShowStopper. Such a tease lol. But I like what your doing here.

No I bought the Ps4 slim cause I dont have a 4k tv, but it looks fine on my Panasonic full hd 3D smart tv.

ha! NICE! I was able to do this with slightly lower skill power as I'm still working on my build. I don't have tech tho(might be a good idea to use what's in my stash). I kinda traded the what looks like 5 sec cool down for more power
On the roof I find it's better to place the flame turret on one of the "smoke stacks"/ small skylights or on the top of the huge skylight in the middle. The heavies can't kick them over and they have better LOS on the NPC's. Love your vids. Got my skill build tips from you.

Upora i think the best you can get with the 50% skill haste + every aditional talent thay increases skill power, and the sp at max (about 550k maxed), is 10.1 seconds...

brother.....Love your vids! Slight suggestions, when you transition from one segment to another, keep the black to a very minimum. It makes you feel like its taking forever to get to the next segment. Also, your title cards can use bigger fonts, at least 2-3 times bigger, you want that shit to be impactful. I have created a few different builds based on yours, love them to death. Keep up the good work bro!

@Upora - happy to see you stick with this build in 1.6. Question - can skills proc 'on killing...' weapon talents?
Weapon talents such as Destructive and Ferocious automatically work with the Sticky bomb and Seeker mine. It does not however seem to stack with the turret Dragonbreath, but it may with the Active sensor or base mod.
Other talents that I have tested on to confirm proc on kill is Predatory, Talented, and Determined. These will proc with the Sticky Bomb and Seeker mine except turret's Dragonbreath. Only Talented and Determined seem to work on that one. Maybe base and Active sensor mod will proc but I haven't tested that yet.
Thanks! Also, may I why have you switched Barrets vest to Robust? I have a Barrets vest I use for this kind of build that has a decent electronic roll but has health & all resistance. I rolled all resistance to 8% skill haste. wouldn't this stack well with the 10% electronics buff on no skill cooldown?
I have a Barretts chest piece from 1.5. But the (Br)ass Hats thought it was funny to prevent me from rolling skill haste on it. So I am using Robust until I can find another Barretts.
Any chest piece from 1.5 won't roll skill haste for whatever reason. You have to loot it in 1.6 to be able to roll it. (Unless they changed it) Otherwise I would be using Barretts right now.
Wow, I didn't know you couldn't do that with 1.5 gear. Someone was kind enough to share Barrets Vest and I picked it up while rest of the 2 were busy with their menu 😛 I have respectable 373k with 9200s of electronics as all the mods are Electronics + Skill Power instead of skill haste. The cooldown I'm getting is similar to yours.
I was able to farm several proficiency caches off late because of the 2x bonus and 74℅ increased kill XP but I had no enemy armor damage on gear would stack with weapon talents when using skills. I'm going to do some more farming.
Like this build a lot, I was really disappointed when 1.6 came out and ruined my cool downs. Swapped out my mods as you did and got it back. Now the most frustrating thing is I can't min/max my gear because the game gods won't drop a tactician piece for me no matter how many drops I farm, LOL.
Yeah I hate having to re-farm alot of stuff now. I have to find another Barrett's chest piece because I can't roll skill haste on my current one. :(

Never tried this build before but damm it kicks ass only got 3 firecrest at the min with some random shit I'm gonna try for 3 tac also to bulk up the seeker i barely used any ammo at all in the last 4 hours 👍

How do you get the lower level gear? Move down world tiers and farm? Seems counter productive but with the skills its nice

I have a question tho, im trying to make mine as close as your but when i go into DZ or hard missions, my dmg on the seeker mines are nowhere as high as your. is this because i have low enemy armor dmg or low dmg to elites? my skillpower is only 10k below your. Appriciate any help i can get :)
Thx! Whats your EAD and DTE at right now? It may be because those aren't doing enough dmg.
EAD is 27% and DTE is 12%/ I spent some time making some new AK's and got destructive and ferosious so i just did my first Lexington event solo on challenge, your build worked great, thanks for the vid :D

I have solo'd on challenging... Use fire crest 3 pieces, shortbows, specializes backpack and nimble holster... Flame turret and speakers... All skill and electronics with health.... Only the roof is tough...
Make sure you use the skill kids extend life of skills. And fire 30% chance to burn all skills... If you go down with turret out, a kill will pick you up if you have health on kill on something also... ...

Do you think adding Strikers three piece would be worth the 10% armor damage? I'm thinking about trying it out if I can line up the right pieces.
I'm not sure. I gave up anything related to armor after Massive changed everything for 1.6. I'm not really a tanky or dps player when it comes to this game, except for the shield build.
I asked that question based off Upora's build. His body armor would be a great example as to why I asked for his opinion. He chose to use 5.5% enemy armor damage instead of skill power leading me to believe armor damage was something he felt made a difference and logically an additional 10% enemy armor damage would benefit that idea. So, no, I don't see my question being ridiculous.
Niah Trujillo Niah Trujillo Actually I do have some feedback with that. Since this build was specced specifically for challenge mode missions (at least it was for 1.5) My opinion was that the striker bonus for an extra 10% might be wasted since you would be giving up Barretts Chest (if you have it) and Inventive backpack. Fear those would be a little more important then 10% extra EAD. Besides. If your EAD is close to 60% then you could one shot (BFB) most elites with the exception of heavies, shieldies and lmb tacticians anyways.
got my skill build at 423k (525k with tac bonus) for solo runs it melts down almost anything, i still missing damage to elits on all armor parts
Just a question: Do your weapon talents affect the skills at all? Your main gun (ak47) has destructive and your seekers seem to do a huge amount of enemy armor damage... Do you think this talent might be in use even with seekers or is it just the stacking on your gear?
As of right now these two talents stack and not necessarily effecting the skills per say. Equip them and un equip them and compare your total stats for EAD and DTE.
I've been awol for a minute so, I dunno what they updates have been or what else they've managed to nerf.. :O

I'm confuse with Talented. Killing a target with this weapon increases skill power by x% for y seconds. Does weapon means your primary / secondary weapon or skills as well?
the weapon you are armed with has to have talented but doesnt need to shoot when you get a skill kill
How do I farm gearscore 182 weapons?
I think you can farm 182 weapons by going down to world tier 2.
Hey, what changes you did from 1.5 to 1.6 on your tactician build?
I replaced electronic skill power mods with electronic skill haste. And re-calibrated EAD, DTE, and skill haste attributes on the gear pieces.

I crafted a 182 sawed off side arm from a blueprint. Has predatory/determined/and talented on it. I hold it in my hands and it constantly procs all 3 talents when my tech kills NPC's. It's amazing. I also find it easier than switching between 2 rifles like Upora does. Although, he is where I got the idea for my skill build and using the 182 weps.

i had old blueprints of 182 weapons. If you can't find any at the blueprint vendor you could always farm in world tier 2.
I use a 182 weapon with the talent predatory but it dsnt proc if i kill an enemy n also n i hv 54% enemy armor damage and if i throw a seeker with 315k power. The enemy armor bar is still full aftr the seeker damage. Confused whether i am really damaging enemy armor
Dennis Rogers no mate it didn't proc. Even in this video you can see it and also the determined talent Doesn't proc. Only i can see is the talent called 'talented' which is visible in the screen and also while i am playin myself..
I don't think determined has pic to show it's activated. I have it and talented and predatory on my wep and only Pred and talented ever show. Not all talents will show, I believe. But, I do notice the slightly shorter cool downs take effect.
Hmm odd, I tested this out yesterday, got a 182 sniper rifle, calibrated coolheaded on it, it also had predatory and swift.
Tested it out on a mission with the seeker kill and predatory didn't proc. I thought, "oh what the hell this isn't working but my previous guns from 1.5 still work, so what gives?" switched guns and back and nothing changed. I had to go into my inventory, unequip the sniper to something else, then equip it back. Then I saw the predatory proc.
I dunno but I think theres a bug like there was with barretts chest and the inventive backpack from 1.5.
i dont know if iwas intentional, but i believe it was, Destructive is not working unless you shoot with your gun. try shooting the target then throwing seekers. im testing this myself. im pretty sure it was ninja nerfed with talent stacking.
Destructive has to work because if you check your stats when you have it equipped and not equipped that you would see a difference.
I'm making a new Tactician guide for 1.6 that should demonstrate that it does work. I had someone say that talented didn't work and I also witnessed myself that predatory didn't work either. But I actually calibrated new guns and tested them out and they do indeed proc with seeker and sticky. I think its a bug where it doesn't think you have it equipped like the old 1.5 bug did with Barretts chest and Inventive. unequip and reequip for it to work again. More details soon!
What do you notice different about 1.6 vs 1.5?
To be honest with you, after a few tweaks, I think its mostly just the cool down difference which sucks imo.
Upora I've definitely noticed that too, cooldowns aren't as quick.
Which I find to be stupid that's the whole point of having high Electronics is too have quicker skills

How do you get those low gear guns
I got these from my old crafting AR blueprints from way back when. They have 182 weapon blueprints at the terminal, though I don't think any AR's are in stock this week.
If I don't have any of those 182 gear score blueprints for those ARs, is there any other options that I can do to obtain those ARs or any other gun of any class
Brian Tran iirc i think its world tier 2 or 3 that you could move to and farm from their bosses or challenge missions. Any loot that drops will be 182 but your caches will still be 256.

I solo'd this today with a 4 piece striker build that absolutely shreds enemies. I think its very boring to sit back and let your bombs or turrets do all the work no offense just my opinion. I love engaging with my full arsenal rather then sitting back. Maybe ill do a video showcasing this shredder build for pve,.
I'm also certain that u are capable of beating this straight up with a rifle, but I assume u just wanted to show your build and how it can be done with a skill build. I like that.

Congrats on beating challenging content solo but how is this any fun, I watched the first half of the video and u didn't fire your weapon once... just doesn't seem fun to me but to each his own.
To me that was the challenging part was not firing a rifle. Its not easy let me tell ya, and I failed multiple times trying to complete it once without dying or using a med kit. But this is very old, back in 1.6. Its probably even much harder in 1.7 but I haven't tried yet.
