Occasionally I am lucky enough to be sent products/clothing free of charge by PR companies, meaning, I may not have paid for everything I talk about. I am not in ANY way obligated to mention these products and if I have done so, it is because I genuinely like them. I would NEVER talk about or show something I didn't genuinely love.
Sometimes, I may be sponsored by brands for videos. I turn down 90% of sponsorship opportunities. I will not accept unless I love the brand/product already. All products/items will still have been chosen by myself, and the video concept will always be my own idea. I would never endorse a brand/product that I didn't truly love and believe in.
I use affiliate links in the description box of this channel. This means I earn a very small percentage when you purchase a product I recommend- the same way a sales associate in a store earns commission when they help you select a product. This does not in any way affect the price you pay for the item, and absolutley does not influence my choice of items to show you.
Lots of love,

I firmly believe M&S is underrated...đ Iâm 22 and shop in M&S all the time, yes it caters for multiple age ranges but the majority of their clothes are either classic or trendy and good quality, without being outrageously expensive. đ
I'm not from the UK, so I didn't evem know that M&S was a granny shopđ I thrifted a reeeeeally cool new trench coat from M&S last summer, the fit is sooo beautiful and the colour so unique and wearable at the same timeđ
Same I love M&S. Some really good quality pieces at a good price. Good for workware especially.
The Jean's in there at the moment are đ
And they have sizes!!!! I always shop from m&S! Amazing basics, nice accessories, bags, greak beauty section as well!!!
@@missbox1083 And who has hundreds of dollars for Burberry anyway!!! I have several trench coats!
Tthe funny thing is, that, even though I've always liked Freddy's outfits, she has that "granny style" with pale colour, 50s vibes, chanel vibes. My granma used to wear "younger" outfits than Freddy's. Beside this, I still admire her capacity to create wonderful outfits.
Yeah, Freddy has her mum's style (her mum wears white and pink and has great taste too, at least going by the glimpses we've had). That's so cute.
You should do 'alternative fashion shops' like kill star, dolls kill, unif or Lazy oaf . I love to see what outfits you could put together!!! Would be so interesting cxx loved this btw
emelia Bea oh my god yes haha! đ
Hell bunny and criminal damage too if theyâre still going đ
Yes! I would love to see her do a Dolls Kill haul. That would be so fun to watch.
YES I LOVE KILLSTAR sorry for the aggressive reply
She should also do Fashion Nova too.
Please give us full length outfit shots!! It's so hard to visualize how skirts fall, how the shoes look with the outfits etc.. đđ
Astrid H. Ye xx
I think she can't go further back with the camera, that's whyđ
But she could change the angle, have her wardrobe as her background when she presents the outfits and then set up the camera elsewhere for the full outfit shots đ€
@@astridh.7853 I guess that doesn't suit her aesthetic :D
Itâs frustrating you canât see the whole outfit whatâs the point seeing from the hips up
New challenge for you: buying outfits from a second hand shop ! Bring a little bit of sustainability into your wardrobe ;)
Yes please. She's such a snob this would be excellent.
Lisa McAllister I never said she was a snob, I said she should try eco friendly shopping. Please be kind, you donât actually know her ! đđ»
Lisa McAllister she actually shops on online stores like depop (they sell second hand clothes), and itâs very rude to make assumptions she actually seems nice and caring.
@@lisamcallister7501 She's a snob just because of the way she dresses?đ
No it's her attitude not her dress sense
I know you don't like midi skirts but that snake print skirt honestly looks so pretty on you.
Trash Kingdom totally agree đ
Same I agree
Totally Agree with you
And also the knee length pink dress! She looked absolutely beautiful!
That's what I was thinking that and the tight turtle neck top I had my thumbs up at her on the other side of the screen, lol.
I don't think its a matter of age, its what style you like. You favour a younger style so that is what you gravitate towards. even in my teens i hated mini skirts but that is a personal preference. And ladies in their 20's are not really "girls". Many at that age start careers and develop a more business like taste, i know i did. i appreciate trying to push your boundaries though, its always good to see what is out there.
Rachel W Well said.
I liked time younger style for a long time but I much prefer a classic style now. But then again I am old! Lol
True. I work in an office and I wear M&S sometimes.
Rachel W Iâm 38 and working in a tech company...we wear jeans and biker jackets. I hate frumpy old looking clothes and my mother who is 60 also wears my clothes/dresses. Only certain women are happy with old mature frumpy clothes...look at the sex and the city series and Samatha Jones and her sexy style
I love her but i dont agree with what she said either
Sweetie, I'm a grandma, and I thought you were funny! My gosh you're so young, of course you wouldn't wear a older generations clothes. It was all interesting and in fun! People need to chill out!! Don't change, just keep being yourself! â€ïž
I'm not a grandma, but I have friends who are ... I just had my children when I was older, so I'm still a way from having grandbabies. I thought this was so funny too!
LOL FREDDY ONLY YOU COULD MENTION THERESA MAY IN A FASHION VIDEO !!!! ahahahahahaha
I think these midi skirt outfits would look amazing on you Josie!! That's right up your alley!
The granny look is just you 100% Josie hah ha ha
Her style is sophisticated, not granny in my opinion.
The skirt at 6:12 is so you!
You two look sistersđ
Am I the only one who doesnât like animal print clothes
I think it looks nasty
But it just me
Every one is different
I do agree with you- I like SOME animal print but a lot of it I donât like xx
No I hate animal print and denham I would never ware them Jess
The name is Jess stewart not charles
Lindsay Rae I agree!!
I hate animal print as well because I think it looks trashy and cheap. I refuse to wear anything in animal print.
People really sleep on M&S, Iâm 18 and so many of my clothes are from there. Would recommend to anyone to give it a chance next time they are near one!
Absolutely! xx
The longer length makes you look thinner, more sophisticated, more elegant, less "little girlish". All good.
no offense Freddy but your style is classic and classic is basically a bit more high fashion granny which is beautiful but still classic is just another word for old so I can imagine it'd be quite easy for you
These stores may be targeted at an older market, but places like M&S are great for really good quality basics. More so than fast fashion brands that like to add some kind of lame extra detail to make it more edgy/appealing to a younger market.
I completely agree! x
The monsoon skirt is longer then the skirt Freddy's going to wear on her wedding day!! đ€Ł
@@belenroman9648 it's a joke đđ
Freddy, I would be very curious to see how you would adjust your style if, say, you had an office job where mini-skirts and jeans were inappropriate. Please do an âoffice looksâ video! :)
Oops I wear mini skirts to the office đ but then so do my colleagues so đ€·ââïž
The plaid m&s outfit was absolutely perfect!
A good tip!: if youâre in a store for older woman shop the petite section for skirts. Theyâre a few inches shorter so they arenât hitting your knee but instead the thigh đ
That Phase Eight pink/white jumpsuit is stunning! It has FREDDY written all over it. I think you could where it to a wedding. I would never wear an all white outfit but I think that jumpsuit would be acceptable.
chende62 no sorry wearing white to a wedding is really tacky
chende62 I simply adore the white-pink jumpsuit!
The monsoon outfit reminds me of Jane from Tarzan đđđ love you Freddy, congrats on 900K đ
I've been scrolling through the comments looking for someone else who thought this!! Definitely giving out Tarzan vibes đđ
Lucinda Farrelly haha xx
Lucinda Farrelly đđđđ. Yup
My life is complete now
Chocolate cake, ice cream, good company texting a friend, and FreddyÂŽs new CZcams video. This Monday could not get any better.
Also guys letÂŽs get Freddy to a million! She derves it!!!
Love your positivity it makes me happy
i hope youâre still as happy!
Some are actually cute not going to lie đž
Monsoon I will not be coming back... Ever! This girl has so been to drama school đ I can't get enough of the drama
Won't be coming back except to return what didn't work.
lol when she's out here hating on clothes i'd actually love to see in stores where i live. Longer skirts look way more classy and feminine than the minis.
omg can we swap? i much prefer the minis, rather than long
@@natalieriach5519 lol nah I like my Caribbean climate
haha new zealand doesn't have lots of mini skirts etc
in stores
@@natalieriach5519 đ
Ok nun
Loved the audacity on this video. Proves that with a good "fashion eye" you can find anything, anywhere.
Freddy, love this concept! I do have one request- in the future could you please do a different angle to where we could see the full length of the outfits? Itâs hard to get the whole picture when we canât see the bottom of a skirt or your legs/shoes etc.
Crazy how different are people's ideas of expensive. M&S is very pricy for me and you're talking about it as if it's nothingđ
I'm glad I am not the only one that thought this - I find it funny when people describe places like M&S, topshop, miss selfridge as 'affordable', like they're more affordable than some places sure but it's all so subjective!
@@meganelliott3777 yes, definately it's all subjective
I think M&S is expensive but they have good sale prices...as a plus size woman (when Primark doesn't stock your size) though they are good value especially for the quality.
I also used to think like that when I was younger , however with the age you tend to choose more expensive stuff , buy less and love yourself more.â€ïž
Well what places do you consider affordable?
Oh dear, I'm 35 and pretty much buy all my clothes from Next... To be fair, that is mainly because all the shops Freddy shops at do not cater for anyone larger than a size 14!
Same here. đ
Exactly! I shop at m&s a lot I love their clothes but also because they are one of the only shops to do my clothing size and only shop other than Ann Summers where I can get bras which fit!
When u donât want to be rude âolder more mature sort of shops â đđ
Please do charity shops next, Freddy! Loved this video
Yes! Not like vintage or thrift shops but the average charity shop on a high street
Such great idea!
The pink coat is very serena van der woodsen xx
What a blast from the past. Most of what you bought were things that I was wearing in the mid-to-late seventies.. Especially the chain patterns and saddle purses... funny how styles comes back, over and over... I am now 60 so I guess I can wear these and be in fashion again LOL. Thank you great video!
*no one:*
*Freddy: bought the whole of M&S women's range*
This is definitely very enlgish teacher vibe
The longer skirts do make the outfits more office appropriate... I would never go to work in a skirt as short as you prefer them ;-)
Freddy can you adjust your camera? That way we can look your feet. We can't appreciate your outfits this way
Oh no! I love monsoon and I donât think itâs a âgranny shopâ. Saying you would rather die than wear the outfit is crazy. I donât think that is true, and the outfit wasnât that bad.
Naomi D I actually got some great jumpers in monsoon after Christmas. I would never shop there but they had great jumpers
Im 22 and I shop in all of those stores đ guess I dress like a grandmother then đđ
Gabriella Wa surely Freddy has showed you that you can shop in these shops and not look like a grandma!
So exactly what does a 'grandmother' look like? This isn't 1819 - they no longer sport grey buns and sit knitting in rocking chairs.
That means you have amazing style!
When I wear something like this I always say "I'm not dressing like a grandma, I'm just dressing like a retro gal"
M&S was a success!!! They have lots of things for âgrannyâsâ but lots for nice things for other people as well
Agreed! xxx
the skirt is sooooooo long ?.... really ???????
it seems you never had any long dress, long dresses are amazing , they can tottaly change your look and make you unique, thats why bridal and evening dresses are always long.
its good to have few long dresses .
Honestly I hate long skirts, only reserved for very special occasions
Yeah, I kinda agree with you. I really like wearing long skirts and dresses. But hey, it's just a matter of opinion. This is not quite in her style, she doesn't have to like everything she tries. She didn't say she hated it, she said that she would personally not wear it
that phase 8 jumpsuit is exactly something iâd wear to a wedding... thatâs gonna be in my dreams tonight đđ
Phase eight was defo the best brand, the jumpsuit looked so beautiful! I look forward to these videos every week, this one was so creative and so much effort must have gone into it! đđ
I'd quite like to see you do a smart "work appropriate" set of outfits Freddy! I adore your style and it's really what i aspire to when i think about my dream "style" however I am a teacher and can't have my arse practically hanging out the back of my dress at work, hell I got pulled up on having a 'shoulder exposed!' when i was 7 months pregnant! So I'd love a way to incorporate the style but In a more practical manner and I'm just crap at putting outfits together on my own honestly.
The m&s are about the only true granny crossover, the others just wouldn't work on a granny w/o a laugh. They all looked awesome on you. Just memories for the grannies
That phase eight jumpsuit is divine! đ jumpsuits were never my thing but if I could get that here I most definitely would, I'm in love đ such a nice idea to try stores you haven't before!
Ahhh!! Okay I work in M&S, and there are so many beautiful things we have right now that are totally your style! I could style at least 8 looks off the top of my head!
Iâm in my early 30s and would wear everything but the mini skirts which I think just look cheap. I think you looked amazing and beautiful in these clothes. I canât understand why you didnât like them. But câest la vie.
There are loads of really good quality mini skirts out there that are actually rlly nice, especially tweed! I guess itâs just personal preference tho
totally been watching Freddyâs videos for hours and also totally okay w thatđđ„°
Ugh pleasseee do urban outfitters Iâd love to see you try and find an outfit in there
Just my opinion I think Freddie dresses a lot older than her years and I would of said quite a lot of the clothes would be from somewhere like M&S
Just get the skirts and dresses hemmed at a tailor. Should be quite cheap.
I love how well organized your videos are! I was just telling my Bestfriend how much effort is put into the editing of your videos, I know you said in your end of the year talk video how stressful it can become, but it's WELL worth it girl! Your viewers really appreciate the content that you put out (:
đ€Ł I laugh so hard as I always find amazing pieces at M&S. Lovely
Actually gutted she didn't go to bon marche, now THATS granny
or Roman!
My mother loved Bon M! I haven't seen one here in the states for many years. You just brought back a lot of memories âș.
Personally (completely unrelated to the video) I wholeheartedly reccomend M&S. Their jeans are perfect, their jumpers are always cozy and stylish and their tops are perfect for dressing casual. Plus their dresses in summer are so cute! I have my own channel, Ginger Chromia, so if anyone in the comments wants to see a "what's new" haul for M&S I'm happy to oblige!
Freddy looks stunning "I wouldn't wear this, no way."
Me in clothes that passingly match: "good enough."
;)
Honestly M&S is such a hidden gem! Thank you x
I think you did such a good job!!! Love this video idea đ€đ
Thank you! So glad you liked it hehe xx
omg julia ze heeft gereageerd
All of your outfits looked great :-) Even the yellow top wasn't bad. You've definitely looked nice in yellow before! But it seems to me like a 'granny shop' is just a shop that sells more than casual clothes...like clothes for people who work in an office or attend weddings (which a lot of people in their early twenties do!)
Well said
Useful for sixth formers too!
M&S looked great on you. Really shows you donât have to shop at expensive stores to style outfits together.
Absolutely! And thank you hehe :) xx
It will be great if you mention the price of these products in the video.
I'm 40 and loving these outfits and the ones you said you would wear when you are older I would absolutely wear he hehe.
Well uumm I think thd skirt was pretty short already! I know you normally wear even shorter skirts but when you are in your twentues I think this is the perfect lenght !
I really donât think these outfits look too old. They are really stylish and longer dresses are really flattering. You can tell Freddy is young and the clothes donât make her look old.
Matalan and peacocks I think would be a challenge for you! đđ»
I stopped the video as soon as you showed the Formal Saddle Bag from Next and clicked the link, found it on the Canadian site and bought it. I have never shopped at Next before and have never purchased anything so fast before either. But oh this bag!!! Thank you. Yes I came back to finish watching the video right after ~smiles~
I loved the black denim skirt on you †Honestly that was probably my favorite outfit on you. Do a video showing what items you keep ! So many looked great on you ( I'd just keep it all lol)
Love your aesthetic & style Freddy! Also Next is supposed to be targeted at working business professional type women in their 30's/40's, so if people think its a 'granny shop' they must be doing something wrong lol. Also lots of the outfits actually look good on you, amazing what you find!
For everyone reading this, I hope you have the most wonderful day ever and donât ever let anyone bring you down!đđđ I hope this comment has brightened your day. Just remember that you donât need anyone that will bring you down because you werenât born to blend in, you were born to STAND OUT!
Phase 8 is gorgeous. I'm 30 and have 2 kids. I feel this is a great brand with fabulous designs.
Omg i can't Handel all that pink like there are other colors in life too .!!!
Haha. I mostly wear clothes that are light blue and grey. I don't really wear other colours. Don't hate me. đđđ
@@Noa...... You got me dead lolđđi do not hate that she wears pink is just that sometimes is to much for međđ
@@lfl_staks I know. I was just joking.
Ah I disagree! Pink is a colour I could wear forever haha
The dotted dress was my favorite actually I would wear this in the summer â„ The whole phase eight outfits where the best in general in my opinion
Besides the turtle necks that always suit you, I would say to only keep the amazing jumpsuit and silk skirt! I was quite surprised that you found that jumpsuit more occasion wear because I do think it would make a lovely daily spring/summer outfit!
That's what my mum said as well so I'm going to re consider that now!!! xxx
@@FreddyMyLove maybe a little update in the description box on what you actually kept? :D
That jumpsuit looks soooooo BEAUTIFUL on you!!đžđđ

OMG of course u look amazing in anything Freddy xx
âI had to get a trolley from the food sectionâ đđđđ omg that made me laugh
Granny shops đ€Łđ€Ł I go to some of these, but you're too sweet to be mad at Freddy!
It was interesting to see her take on these shops, couldnât believe the lovely stuff she found in M&S, going to hunt a few of those pieces out and Phase 8 was a surprise, my mum shops there but Iâd never go in, may do in future for weddings. Agree with her on Monsoon too, it reminds me of my art teacher at school, at 37 even I feel like the stuff ages me!
Donât watch her videos if you dislike her so much. I think sheâs fun, and although thereâs a lot of her clothes Iâd never wear, I enjoy her videos. Each to their own. There are you tubers that I donât like and because I donât like them, I donât watch them. Simples.
Rebecca Black Get a fuckin sense of humour y r people so wet here
Marley Barley Freddy is not autistic and commenting using autism as an insult can be seriously harmful for anyone who is. Please consider word choice. I know she wears pink a lot but she does have other colours she wears (white, some black skirts, tan, light blues) just because someone has found what they like and wears that more often is not an âautistic obsessionâ just someone being authentically themselves
@@abcxyz-cx4mr why do you care if she wears pink all the time? Last time I checked we were living in a free world where everyone can wear what they want. If I was Freddy I would be wearing pink even more just out of spite. You are not the person to tell her which colour she can and cannot wear. And please refrain from using "autistic" as a character description for a person who is clearly not autistic! That's just childish.
sweetheart i've been binging your videos! you are so gorgeous and stylish and i love listening to you talk!! definitely taking your fashion advice this summer â€
Hi Freddy, I know you have a very particular taste when it comes to the style of the clothes you wear, but I think you are being a little bit too extreme with the "never ever going to wear" thing. A lot of things looked so pretty on you even when you said they looked awful... many times you said that the outfit you were wearing was suited to an older age range but that is definitely not the case. You can see all over instagram gorgeous 20-30 girls rocking the outfits that you very nicely put together!! I think you should be a little more open minded and embrace different style senses to yours.
I hope this comment does not come across as polemic or negative. I love all of your videos, you and your fashion sense, but somethimes you should bare in mind that we do not all think the same!! Hope this was constructive and by no means I meant to offend you. I love you xx
That's fine, but I know my sense of style really well and if I don't feel comfortable in something then why would I wear it?
I agree I love Freddie but I really would love the monsoon outfit and it made me feel super insecure about my style when she said she wouldn't be caught dead in it. Like fair enough she doesn't like it but to go as far as to say her sister was laughing at it and everything was really mean. I'm 20 btw.
@@FreddyMyLove don't wear it and just say this doesnt fit me or my style but saying I would rather die than to wear them is a little harsh...You know I made this mistake before to a friend of mine her style is very different than mine I like girly stuff and she likes more classic outfits and once we went shopping together I she asked me if I like certain items that she chose I was like ewwww no yakkk thats too bad I didnt mean to hurt her I was just telling my honest openion, after that she told me that she was really annoyed when I reacted like this to her style and i felt really terrible so, us as subscribers can you imagine how many differnt styles do we have and for sure someone has the style that you said you would rarher die than to wear...its not a hate comment I really love and support you just take it as an advice â€

Iâm so many years late to this video but Freddy, love you look amazing in all of these colors! I found you a while back and love your channel because itâs all pink and plush, etc. But the colors in this video are amazing on you. The clothes too. Iâm pushing 40 and I need to start shopping at these âgrannyâ stores.
Next is not to be snubbed at. I love it!
I love the two piece dress so much. You look amazing in these outfits Freddy.
You need to get away from this idea that length means old as you really suit all these things I mean every one well the blouse with black skirt maybe not. The skirt was fine.. But not the blouse đ the chanel look suit looked great on you . Honestly don't be so hung up on length as you look so sophisticated in all of the outfits you chose you look amazing . đđ
The pink and white overalls are AMAZING! You should totally keep that one. Overall though, M&S was the best.
Iâm 36 and I love to go shopping to m&s and next.. well Iâm guessing I can call myself grandma đđ
How grateful I'd be if Freddy did two vids a week, one sit down style one vlog style đđ Although ik she puts so much time and effort into her weekly video..I just can't helpđ
Why do you want such a short skirt or dress you donât need to turn it into something that doesnât look classy, longer looks more fancy and formal
Isabel Thomson shorter lengths can look classy, especially how Freddy dresses them up. She just doesnât like midi skirts on herself, everyone has their own taste.

Freddy ALWAYS looks amazing, it doesn't matter what she is wearing or where it is from, she gives it a really nice and classy look đđ
Does anyone else get Serena van der Woodsen vibes from all these outfits??
I must be a 27 year old Granny, shop at M&S and Next a lot! I shop a lot at other places too but these "granny" shops cater more towards appropriate work clothes and bigger sizes! However very cute video - wish you had bought some clothes that better represent Monsoons style direction though - occasion wear! đđđ
Love you Freddy, congrats on 900k!
Please try a different top than the checked one with that satin skirt. The checked one is too casual for that skirt. But the skirt is lovely!
Monsoon is made for occasion wear
All the snakeskin and leopard prints are straight out of the 80's, so technically if you are wearing these "trendy" patterns you are literally wearing what your mother or grandmother wore when they were your age. I always find it amusing when the following generations pick up their ancestor's style and consider it fresh and trendy. Every generation does, including your mother's and grandmother's. I feel it's a good compliment to the previous generations paving the way.
