In 2002, the brand’s annual summer tour officially expanded into the AND1 Mixtape Tour. Legendary streetballers such as “Hot Sauce” and “The Professor” would go from city to city, court to court to challenge the greatest streetballers in one-on-one’s, entertaining fans and providing much of the footage for the ensuing Mixtapes. The streetballers who prevailed through the very end of the summer tours would receive endorsement deals from AND1.
In the years that followed, while the NBA would own the basketball season, AND1 dominated the summers. For years the tours were televised live on ESPN under the name “Streetball” and competed with ESPN’s “SportsCenter” for the highest ratings.

He’s pretty much the reason why NBA street was created 💯
A lot of games owe him money
No bs me I think they based bonefied the character off of him
@@LorTrippy bona-fide was an actual and person
They should have put him in NBA Street Volume one or two
Me and my friends use to spend days having tournaments in that game. And we only played it because of people like Hot Sauce, they definitely owe him money.
These kids today will never know how important and fun the early 00’s NBA and streetball era was to us, the players back in the day made the game what it is today, salute to all of the early 00’s legends.
You know whatsup!
Oh no 😧
these kids today will never understand 🤓👴🏻
That’s why they hate on Hezi. Kids don’t like to have fun with basketball no more. Dunk contest been dry since when? Crazy.
Ok bummer
Watching this as a kid would boost your handles by 50% once u went back outside. 😂💯
Early 00’s best era to grow up in! I miss that shit!
I swear!!!!!
Fa real even the nba was waaay better
The Early 2000s was Crazy asf. Thank god in heaven i was in this era
Biggest facts brotha 🤷🏽♂️💯
I grew up in that era. That shit was whack. Music corny, fashion corny, cell phones whack.... Street ball was pretty good though lol
Because of Hot Sauce my scumbag friend started throwing the ball on my forehead.
Mike K Lmao true true
Which is probably the only Sauce move he can replicate. Tell him to work on the others, you can start thinking doing shit like that only when you're at least at 50% of his arsenal
the problem is is that they probably arent as good so your boy has essentially drilled you right in the nose countless amounts of times and has ruined the game.
LMAO 😂😂
Same dood
It’s now 2023 I remember watching this everyday as a kid trying to replicate his moves and seeing this mixtape again put the biggest smile on my face. Hot sauce was a goat fr.💯
Facts💯 my mom use to get mad at me for dribbling in the house while doing hotsauce moves lol
@@LBFresh hell yea right in front of the mirror😂💯

Anyone still in 2019??
im trying to figure out what the intro music called

Yessir... HotSauce was always my favorite and1 player!! These guys travel more than Christopher Columbus did though!!
He really should have came out with his own brand of hot sauce.
Could have been set for life for real
@@Vomitbukkake factzz
Guess he couldn’t make the crossover...Waka waka
Wasn’t his flow, would’ve turned a passion into a serious job, he said on tour back in the day if he wanted that, he would’ve joined the nba. Hot sauce was a purest, he operates best when he’s having fun, no politics involved!! 💯
@@dominiclong2422 I feel ya
Sauce was the reason I started watchin And-1 back in '02
Same here 2002 started it all for me Street hoops the video game ESPN street ball and mixtape vol 5 was my life that year good times
@@imahustla5029 Man...I loved streetball
Tru sauce plus the air up there
Hot Sauce is the Jordan of streetball. I don't even like watching sports but when And1 came on....I was tuned in.
Koldraiyne DownSkayle He The Iverson Of And 1 👌🏾
The Allen Iverson of streetball. This dude was the fastest ball player on the court.
please.... I mean he's nice but skip to my Lou is top dog
a.k.a. Rafer Alston who played for Rockets, Magic, Nets and Heat.
Legendary Streetballer right there
Yea sauce is nasty
Mario302 Gars and don't forget he played for the Raptors too.
+bill collins Skip is top dog, but hot sauce's dribbling style is very similar to Iverson's.Of course hot sauce would get destroyed by Iverson, I just wanted to throw that out there so no one will take my comment the wrong way and think I am saying they're on the same level.
I’d never forget in 2004 when my brother & I pulled up at the Metro Run & shoot in Atlanta. It was a black escalade on dub chrome rims and plate said “Hot 03”. We went inside and I knew it was him by a big crowd surrounding 1 goal. He did 1 on 1’s with everyone who stepped up. He crossed me over so bad I couldn’t walk upstairs when I got home
Mustang gang 5.0 man i miss the old days back in the early 2000s man. So much nostalgia, vhs and all.
😂 must’ve been fun back then, I was born in 2004 unfortunately
He’s a true legend of the Street ball game
@@blankblank1257 💯🦈 Randy Jackson-RJ
Hot Sauce pico de mi mama no idea 💡💯 Now they are going on now but they don't care about it is here to help me 💯. Time sheet for you know what I thought but it's not a lot of people asking me how to see you too 💯.. I'm going on now but they don't know what time you want me out with me?💯
He changed the game forever
He is a legend

Philip Champion.
I cant believe i remember EVERY clip! I was obsessed with And1 and Hot Sauce in middle school to hs, even got his autograph and everyone else when i saw them in Atlanta, went by myself when i was 14 😂😂 nostalgia is real on this one
I remember me and my friends watching these Mixtapes and all of us going outside and trying to Hot Sauce moves. I used to love them And 1 tapes back in the day.
Me too. He inspired me to practice my handling skills.
U r not alone!
Dudes ball control was unreal even if he wasn’t carrying and walking all over the place you wouldn’t rip him 1v1
Jay Money right niggas hating in these comments.. sauce really had handles
You cant even learn these moves without having handles I use to study Iverson and hot sauce games for hours every single day and I learned how to create my own moves from watching the best.some of hot sauce moves are iverson moves from the shoe commercials
They couldn't beat him in One vs one basketball even if he didn't do all the fancy moves he'd probably just beat using regular Cross overs
Yep, got crazy handles, fast AF, insane first step, and on point jump shot... Sauce would beat their aih then they'd probably try to square up🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brings back memories
+J Fleming right doe
Josh F Academy Homes Boston Nigga
Hot Sauce was bae back in the day. He reminded me of a darker Allen Iverson that used to do the dopest tricks.
And1 was like the 90’s/early 2000’s Globe Trotters. The dopest ever 🔥☄️
No doubt..so were you hooping back then?
💯💣💥
This was my childhood.. And 1 mix tapes on VHS tapes
Sam Alexander and millions of other peoples
Some maybe quicker. But nobody could do these moves better then sauce.. his control was insane
raise your hand if your still watching this in 2k17

Professor was a Pimp
He wasn't falling for none of it
This era was hilarious 😂 that hard pullback crossover was flames 😂 me and my cousin would go and use the suburban kids as guinea pigs they treated us like legends 😂
Facts exposing white kids😂😂😂

2019 anyone?
The King of the throne. Saw him ball in 2014 and he's still killin dudes
That awkward moment when you discover that Sauce is 39 now.
+BEAST COAST WHAT!!! wow i dont believe it man haha !

+BEAST COAST yup he is and still breakin ankles
+Koffi Asamoah Yup June 13th 1976
that much time has passed....that's crazy
Bruh I remember this era like it was yesterday. Literally everyone wanted to dribble like him. Shits unreal how much control he has over the rock.
Man...I miss this stuff
Who still watching this in 2017? 🔥🙌🏼
iKaeh IMD 2018
me bro, 2019
The ball spinning inside the shirt and bouncing the ball with your knees the nostalgia this was almost 20 years ago damn im getting old 🥴😂
The fact that nobody tried to fight him after shows great sportsmanship n fun this the era u want all over again
Im 11 years old and im still watching this
The little 2-3 lightning dribbles he does is my favourite part. Its like he hypnotizes them. They dont know whats coming next. He usually does it right before a big move
Sllk, muito pesado...
Sempre será referência!!
Lenda!!!!
2022 and still a legend
I remember meeting this man in person at conseco fieldhouse pacers game at half time show. Man shook me and all kinds of kids out our shoes, I got crazy handels now tho. Definitely a game changer 🙌 Hot Sauce 🐐
good old and1mixtape days... classic :')
whats this mixtape called
Hot Sauce, Skip To My Lou & AO were a cut above
Those three and Alimoe. Sad how little respect they get from some people these days, and are put behind The Professor in so many people's opinion. Just because the guy was the youngest back then, so he is in his mid 30s now while they are in their mid 40s (or dead) and because of that he's the most relevant now with his youtube presence.
But in terms of skill he's not in their league. He pretty much a Hot Sauce clone with not even half the moves.
After Skip, i always felt AO was head and shoulders the best pure hooper on the And1 roster. I’m shocked he never got at least a D league run
He was a magician. He created illusions on the court.
He is definitely another type of M J
Because "He Did" change the game adding some"Hot Sauce" to the game
I remember everyone wanted to be like Hot Sauce when AND1 first dropped...my cuzo & i used to cut our sleeves like him and practice moves for hours after recordin every AND1 episode on VHS...our world was Allen Iverson and Hot Sizzle
in my opinion sauce has changed in an international and popular way, some concepts since basketball exists. For me he reinvented this sport. He showed that playing smaller games can also shine, dribble and succeed, encouraging thousands of young people not so tall. He changed the main and most important purpose of the sport, which was to convert baskets, score points. You can see how they vibrate with each move. thanks to the guy who reinvented basketball.
I love this still man.
Every shoe of and 1ns i got a mixtape to it you know.
Streetball for life
Loaded up And 1 on the PS2 and had to come back to watch this video and reminisce. I remember religiously practicing that move at the start of the video down to perfection. My favorite streetball move of all time
His stiff leg crossover was so beautifully executed
Called the sham god, actually sham invented it
Thank A.O.
@@kinglion8621 the shamgod is a completely different move that Stiff leg crossover was invented by A.O.
@@Serve3000 who’s a.o.?
Aaron Owens
Almost 20 years, love And 1
My uncle had his cds 💿 this bring back so many memories
Had AND1 properly payed their ballers... These legends would still live and streetball would be major.
he made professor fall o_o
Nostalgic af❤❤❤
I bought these dvds in the swap meet i watched them over and over again when i was a kid
I remember Hot Sauce when he a kid perfecting his ball handling skills on the court in Club Candlewood Apartments in East Point,Georgia...
The younger generation will never know how hard streetball was early 2000s.
I miss them ol and 1 mixtape days 😎 I use to play the tapes an try the moves 😎
Man Hot Sauce is a Legend man!! Damn I remember my 2006-08 Highschool days watching his Vids on Ipod, b4 CZcams.
I watch and1 mix when i bean 15 and now 33... This moves and music still inside me... Great player
Streetball legend. Hall of famer. Changed basketball and the culture
He will always be a legend
We haven’t seen this level of creativity since!!!!
Grew up watching hot sauce and kept trying to emulate his moves on the court but never could, lol #love from Nigeria #2022
These mixtapes on VHS were a big part of my childhood in Chicago. My friend Tarek showed me them and then we would go out into the street and play 1 on 1 and try doing all the tricks. Even if we could pull of some sauce moves like the shirt swoop or the knee dribble it was fun even if we didn’t make the basket. Then when we went to school it made the playground games a lot more fun. I wish they would bring this back.
And1 Legend right there
It’s 2022 folks! Let’s be grateful for the gift of life!! We all love AND 1!!! 💫
I still have all the and1 videos on 📼 dude was my idol forever 😆
The only thing I am against in this video is that bouncing off of the forehead move.
It's probably responsible for hundreds of fights, and a murder or two.
😂Really?
@@nananyantakyi1549
Yes.
That is a type of assault ( to me and others) it's embarrassing, and somewhat unnecessary.
Those factors combined with environments and personalities which are somewhat violent anyway is a receipe for a fight to start.
@@truthovertribalism4038 haha..
was my favorite move during recess and it pissed everyone off
off the heezy
I remember how impressed growing up seeing this. I read an article yesterday that even with all that talent he was not good enough to play NBA level and by the time he left the training camp they were calling him ketchup
2020 and this ish is still live
Damn I miss these day's! Long live And1 mixtape tour
Never forget meeting sauce at the united center back when he was in his prime. Memories!
8:15-8:18 is the most disrespectful thing i have ever seen in a Basketball game, i would've had to throw dem hands....lol
Migel White You wouldn't throw shit, Kuz they will whoop yo ass
Migel White yeah i agree. no need to toss the ball off someone's head, especially when it has a good chance of hitting his nose if he looks up. all the sick moves in streetball......that one is very unnecessary and disrespectful
AsWithinSoWithout quit over exaggerating
He's playing people who step up to him, it's like a less physical way of figting.
It’s street ball dawg chill out
Dude was my favorite And 1 player.
This brings back so many memories! I played basketball at Run & Shoot with Sauce. He would throw me lobs as I would claim through the air and dunk over guys much taller than me. I used to work at Run & Shoot and would she some of the Gee players come through to play amongst each other. Hot Sauce definitely was the pioneer of street ball handles
Revolutionized the game in a apocalyptic way
the direction that NBA rejected to embrace FIBA and European rules.
Hot sauce makes me smile so much
Still watching this magic!!! 2022
This jammin this in 2020! What an era
Best handles I ever seen. I can only imagine if the step back was invented back then…good lord. He might have literally tore somebody’s ACL. Every time I see kyrie play it slightly reminds me of Hot Sauce.
A.I. was doing stepbacks
Damn you should've had a list of all the songs playing they old but that shit still lit lol😂
Hot Sizzle!! I remember those days!! #And1 🔥🔥🔥
Still get hype when I watch this God Bless Atl babyyyyy
Muito top... lembro minha época de escola...
Best ever! 😍👏😱
One of the best, makes me wanna play again.
You should!
My older brother had a DVD mix tape of And 1 Vol.1 to Vol.4 I’ve never been the biggest fan of basket but man those clips hype up a lot to go play
5:07 and 9:16 professor trying to guard hot sauce 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Main Event the goat 🐐
Ayeee
I used to practice his moves when I was little. Hot sauce was always my fav and 1 player
Remember the VHS And 1 mixtapes?! Amazing!
Nephew was a magician I wish he could have done this in the NBA . But A.I will do .
yo this guy is out of this world man has skill is crazy
Savage Uchiha true
Game changer. Legend
to watch and1 vol.3 when it first dropped was a blessing!!! hot sauce really the goat of streetball
HotSauce invented Streetball. He's the best ever.
+fr33styl3z Skip 2 My Lou did
+David Luna Skip 2 My Lou is the best basketball play, since he plays in the NBA...Hot Sauce moves are way more awesome!!! Hot Sauce was the BOOM!! Everybody is trying to imite him!!

+fr33styl3z dumbass nigga. hotsauce didn't invent shit.. streetballs been around before he was a fuckin thought
***** Nah, you mad you cant get out of denial? Streetball has been around before he was born dumb nigga xDD
This is what hoopers and fans really wanted to see and I promise you, they still want to see!
When you knocking on Nikes door in sales..you know they were out to get rid of you. And 1 fan till I die. Streetball is and will always be my outlet..my passion, the reason why I exist. Much love to all my ballers who know what I'm talkin about.
2020 still watching this sauce!
2022 and im learning my skills by watching this videos
Most of all the streetball crossovers were hotsauce’s moves..I feel like he deserves more respect..and the professor was just perfect, HS was more animated
what is the name of the song that plays from the second 00:00 until 00:05
This man is so slept on!!!
Totally impressive and highly entertaining
