In 2002, the brand’s annual summer tour officially expanded into the AND1 Mixtape Tour. Legendary streetballers such as “Hot Sauce” and “The Professor” would go from city to city, court to court to challenge the greatest streetballers in one-on-one’s, entertaining fans and providing much of the footage for the ensuing Mixtapes. The streetballers who prevailed through the very end of the summer tours would receive endorsement deals from AND1.
In the years that followed, while the NBA would own the basketball season, AND1 dominated the summers. For years the tours were televised live on ESPN under the name “Streetball” and competed with ESPN’s “SportsCenter” for the highest ratings.

Just because the guy was the youngest back then, so he is in his mid 30s now while they are in their mid 40s (or dead) and because of that he's the most relevant now with his youtube presence.

in my opinion sauce has changed in an international and popular way, some concepts since basketball exists. For me he reinvented this sport. He showed that playing smaller games can also shine, dribble and succeed, encouraging thousands of young people not so tall. He changed the main and most important purpose of the sport, which was to convert baskets, score points. You can see how they vibrate with each move. thanks to the guy who reinvented basketball.

Even if we could pull of some sauce moves like the shirt swoop or the knee dribble it was fun even if we didn’t make the basket. Then when we went to school it made the playground games a lot more fun. I wish they would bring this back.

The only thing I am against in this video is that bouncing off of the forehead move.
It's probably responsible for hundreds of fights, and a murder or two.

      Yes.
That is a type of assault ( to me and others) it's embarrassing, and somewhat unnecessary.
Those factors combined with environments and personalities which are somewhat violent anyway is a receipe for a fight to start.

I used to work at Run & Shoot and would she some of the Gee players come through to play amongst each other. Hot Sauce definitely was the pioneer of street ball handles
