Not to speculate here but I doubt she realised her sexuality untill recently, and then decided to end the relationship, which I would say is pretty brave knowing that it would cause pain but is ultimately for the best. Obviously we don’t know what happened but I think branding this as selfish probably isn’t correct.
@@willparkes3525 And I feel like calling it a waste misses out on so much of what their relationship probably is (and I say probably because there's only so much speculation an internet-stranger can do). Even if they weren't sexually compatible, they had each other's companionship and care for 12 years. They look like good friends now, and that friendship developed over the course of their relationship, and they still have that relationship today.
