Over the weekend, dug out my old Legos from my Parents' house. A Wave of nostalgia as I was re-assembling the old Adventurers, gen 1 Harry Potter and Star Wars, and more. But boy, 20 something and older legos can be a lot more fragile than expected. especially droid arms.

Its not 20+ something year old legos its those specific years and something in the molding. I have sets from the 80's and 90's i stored like crap that are in great shape. Then i was in the dark times during my party years from 20 to 30 and when i got back into the hobby and bought sets like the venator from bricklink i have those dark red pieces break like crazy.
@@joshuam6587 the Droids breaking are from this set Lego Star Wars Geonosian Fighter 4478 so it might just the molding. the thing that truly fell apart in storage was all those 1x1 plant bricks that have the "bamboo" leaves that stick out that only connect by a tiny nub of plastic, about half are still in decent shape, but the other half connected to an old 1998 Ninja set, forget it.

Kudos to all the participants. Building casually is one thing, but having to flesh out ideas while under the pump is impressive. I like seeing challenge style videos like this, nice vid.

I don't know how the heck the reindeer build lost. 10/10 story, the build was aestetically pleasing, and it had functionality and play potential.
Absolutely disgraceful that it lost to a tan mess with a dead Batman and a story more convoluted than the Sequel Trilogy.
