Naz Reid led Minnesota with 23 points and 6 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Golden State Warriors 99-96 tonight. Karl-Anthony Towns had 14 points and 5 rebounds while Kyle Anderson added 12 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals for the Timberwolves. Jordan Poole led Golden State with 27 points as Stephen Curry (20 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds) and Klay Thompson (15 points, 4 rebounds) totaled 35 points in defeat. The Wolves improve to 38-37 with the win, while the Warriors fall to 39-37. - Sport
Kerr playing Poole in the clutch to gain some experiece has been costing the Warriors a lot this season. Especially in this very cucial last stretch of games. The kid tends to play hero ball whenever he feels it and then slips up big time at highly critical instances.
He still has that poor shot selection in the clutch. Imagine if it was an easy two points from him, the outcome would've been really different. But no, taking a long three pointer is better. haha
You can see the moves he makes are Curry's style, but he's not Curry. Pool is great most of the time, but like you said, he's not reliable in the clutch. Warrirors made some bad plays in the end. Why did they let the shot clock get down to 3 seconds forcing Dreymond to shot a 3 and miss? Why did they shoot 3 after 3 and miss when they were trying to take the lead in the 4th instead of just taking 2 pt layups. Curry could have just laid it up and in and threw it back out into an interception. He has those little floaters from inside the free throw line on point. Every basket counts, and when your not hitting threes all game, they need to start pounding the 2 pointers. Too many reckless passes resulting in turn overs are why we lose game after game after game.
All true, but Kerr has no other option but to go with unpredictable Poole, as Wiggins is out and we see now how is he so instrumental for GSW.
@@heyaisdabomb The kid certainly has potential. But that insane contract he got handed after just one decent season inflated his ego big time. Not to mention him being dubbed as the "next Steph" by none other than his own team and organization has made him think he's as qualified as Steph to act up in these crucial situations. Could hardly blame Draymond for rocking up the kid the way that he did.
He thinks that he is good as Steph.
Any hooper knows that was an insanely ballsy shot from KAT.
With time left too he let it go man is brave
He was clutch from 3 the entire 4th
naz Reid: 23 points, 58% fg, 60% 3pt
Wardell: 20 points, 8-23 fg, 4-13 3pt, 3 turnovers, 3 fouls
Naz Reid just outplayed the “greatest 3 point shooter” yet you won’t see him get a single ounce of coverage from the media
Na the defending champs just weak as fuck…. Timberwolves center doing whatever tf he wants😂😂
He wanted that shot. Put the team on his back.
Timberwolves FINALLY got their whole squad. They played great defense tonight. That's what I'm most impressed with. They usually are horrible at contesting the 3 but tonight they did great. Steph and Klay were always contested and that's what they were supposed to do. GG .. really was a scrappy game with playoff feel to it.
Look at the tape again @ 2:59 Conley deliberately grabbed Curry and no call was made.
@@choward5430 so that call is bad but everything they were calling for the warriors were okay?
@@MyNameGoose That was an obviously blown no-call. But that's not why GS lost. Curry and Thompson were a collective 13-40 32%. And the two turnovers in the final 50 seconds killed it. That's life in the NBA.
@@choward5430 I like how you didn't answer my question you complained about a call I called you out and instead of answering that you decided to say other things.
@@choward5430 it's called a veteran play. Look at the angle of where the refs are. I'll relate it to football where they grab where the ref can't see them lol. Steph gets grabbed and pushed and everything all the time. It got to the point they use illegal screens to get him open because defenders literally drape on to him and hold him. Steph easily one of the best off ball moving guards to ever play.
Going back to the call, yeah it was a hold but so what? What about all the other missed shots? Sometimes playing good defense is fouling. Just like how Draymond fouls gobert to make him shoot free throws, you'll do it all day. If it's a foul and you don't let curry get a feel for the game, it is worth the foul. If it doesn't get called even better. But the last play where they could tie, antman locked him up and played great defense without fouling. That was very impressive. Made curry lose his handles and take a bad shot.
How both Drey & Jordan threw it away with seconds left after so much spectacular play is a head scratcher. We've seen this happen more this season from the veteran's than ever before.
they lost to utah just like this game..
yup, what’s the play coach?
they lost on purpose , they want the 6th seed
Jordan Poole has sold more games than the warriors selling tickets this szn😂
Brain damage
No way they let Jordan Poole handle the ball in crunch time. Dude always sells
BRO THATS WHAT IM SAYING
@@trix345Curry indicated saying to Poole my bad ...Funny how Warriors fans criticize Poole but he was the same guy that hit the big 3 in the corner ....Be mad at Steph an Klay for their 2nd half woes not put it all on Poole
@@CoachRJ334 foole!! they lead by 2pts he should have killed the time before shooting it he shoot it from way behind the arc he couldve atleast penetrate for lay up or pass to another for perimeter shot but instead this foole got over his head just because the crowd were overwhelming from that corner 3 and there goes this wannabecurry foole and trying to be a hero again. LOW IQ is what im saying
Poole have an efficient game that curry and klay
he just had 18 points in the 4th vs the sixers and hit a 3 pointer to give us the lead in the final minute
the question is, where was the “best 3 point shooter” when the team needed him most? Why did he shoot 0-5 and air ball the game tying 3?
Lets go timberwolves
Fantastic defense from Anthony Edwards on the last possession
What a steal. Typically Timberwolves win when not many thought we would. Now have to string some wins together. Naz Reid has been the man the last two games.
Absolutely. KAT hit the clutch shots, but NAZ carried us with his scoring.
I hear you there. That being said, I expect the Kings to end their playoff drought tomorrow night, so...
Never met a timber wolves fan respect

Timberwolves fans unite!
tf poole doing man😂😂
dancing his way to an L .... lmao
Brain trauma, from the hit
Road games and late turnovers really are a big problem for this team this year smh
There at home you sped
They were at home😭
warriors really thought road games were the issue
The real problem is they don’t have a leader they can rely on in the clutch to close out games because wardell always collapses under pressure
Turnovers always been a problem
That overrated and inconsistent guy called Jordan Poole should be sitting on the bench during the last minutes of a close game.
YOOOOOOO 🔥KAT CRAZYYY FOR THAT
Pools back foot moved from California to Tennessee ... how the hell was not a travel?
Great Job Wolves for beating the Warriors tonight
Timberwolves had amazing defense in the last two minutes
Minnesota is the maybe weirdest team this season. They can beat every team but also they might lose against Spurs- Houston. So unbalanced.
Extremely unpredictable
Mainly because of so main different lineups due to so many injuries to key players.
They have a habit of playing a game like this, showing some real promise. Then they will come out the next game and play like they don’t want to be there. I think that was the reason for the Conley trade, to get some stability in an overall young team.
It just got weirder
Bucks lost to Houston
Up 2 with less than a min and poole takes a terrible shot from deep and misses, then dray turns the ball over, then poole throws the ball out of bounds… yeah definitely sold the W
WTF at the end they showed Jaden's missed free throw twice and didn't show the one he made.
Twolves Never fails to entertain
not only that but to add on to what you were saying the twolves always entertain.
great win by the Wolves
Kerr needs to bench Poole in clutch moments
AGREEEE!!!! that foole is immature when crowd overwhelmed then this foole wanted to be in the center of it thats what getting his head damn foole
@@anaknampota2266 His ego is too big. Do you notice how he makes the same moves as Curry? That deep 3 is exactly a Curry special, but there's a reason why it's a Curry Special. Because no one else can do it with reasonable reliability. That corner 3 he made was another curry special, cut to the corner, shooting falling sideways under 1 second after first touching the ball. I'm amazed he made that. But he shouldn't be on the ball and certainly, should not be shooting long 3's when you are head and all you need to seal the deal is any points. Why risk a 3, when you can get to the basket for a more likely to land layup?
Poole first showboating then proceeds to throw a deep brick and a TO back to back plays in the clutch. Totaly deserved.
Wow Timberwolves are playing good now 👍
Can they beat the Kings too tomorrow?
yes
Timberwolves lineup is lowkey stacked
@@thorkagemob1297 it wasnt since they lost dlo, beasley and vanderblits then they proceed to change the whole rotation and forget about the key bench from last year
W
@@patrickr2601 Yes 🍻
Klay palmed the ball. No call. Draymond fouled, shoved then chased down KAT. No call.
Wolves finally at full roster strength and are learinging to win tight games in the last mintue. And can win without Ant or Kat going for 30 or more.
1:48 what are u doing poole . U should create a play
Jordan Poole had a good game with 27 points but took a terrible critical shot with 40 seconds left to play and then made an awful turnover with 4 seconds left. I am sure Steph was furious about that. Just keep the ball in Steph's hands when the game is on the on the line.
27 on poor shot selection. Basically even more inconsistent jalen green. Poole has some of the worst decision making I’ve ever seen
@@braysonburt2281 Because he has too much ego. He thinks he's like Curry, but no one else can do what Curry does. It leads him to play like Curry, but with more failed results.
@@heyaisdabomb It was his own team and organization who dubbed him as the next Steph, and much to their own peril. Giving him that insane contract after ONE decent year inflated the kid's ego big time.
Poole got brain cancer from the punch that Mr green did to him, you can't tell by now?
@@braysonburt2281 kill the head, the body is dead
Dray passed right into the Sloths hand and Poole ??????? I blame Kerr. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shoutout Steph for that last second shot. His miss won me my a chip in Fantasy Basketball by .00038 FG% 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Warriors got away with four travels in these last minutes. Also Poole shouldn’t have been point guard in the clutch
The amazing game from,Karl Anthony Towns Cruz.we be go..Dominican.🇩🇴🔥🇩🇴 32.
The last possession of Poole is just a shame.
What if you got a take out shot to the brain? It's not a shame, 🤛🤜👊✊
@@David.560_- I just think that not giving the ball to the best player (Steph) is a shame.
Warriors first possession. Poole traveled and Klay carried SMH
Does anyone know if Jordan Poole can play ball without traveling or carrying the ball all the time?
Draymond pulls Gobert out of bounds. No play on the ball, just a tackle. Yes, the refs called it but if anyone did that to a Warrior they would be whining and starting a fight.
Imagine waiving off the greatest shooter of all time, man what a kid.
THANK U MINN !!!!!!! 🙏‼️💯
Nothing better than a Draymond crying L to start the week off.
I love this
nice win
Timberwolves
beating the Warriors at their home
is a difficult task
Wolves balling 😍
Warriors sold the game to play the Kings first round. Is keeping the ball in Steph's hand too hard ? Poole shooting a step back deep 3 while up 2 and 30 seconds left ? Too cute
the ball isn’t put in Wardell’s hands because whenever he has it he just collapses and folds under pressure. 0-5 in the clutch and air balled the game tying shot.
@@leultrainstinct406 😂😂Lehater
poole was having a really good game. pretty sure he had around 30 and curry was like 4 for 12 this game. Steph wasn't the answer in that situation. running a better offense and not turning the ball over wins them that game.
Actually Jordan Poole did the correct thing which was go for the two possessions. He had to shoot so they guaranteed the ball back. It was an open shot and he had been hitting more shots then Klay and Steph all night so no it wasn't hero ball he did what he was supposed to do.
he supposed to do a step back from the 3pt line?
This is why never give the ball to Poole in the clutch time PERIOD!!!
Welcome back Payton II🎉
Bro the turnover for Green is just nasty dude..
Poole's insistence on shooting when he could have passed to Klay could have placed GSW up at 99 instead of 96. Poole then lost the ball on a turnover. This loss is on Poole
Klay was not good today he lost many shots also.
Steph for the tie 🧱
GOODNIGHT WARRIORS
The warriors gave this game completely away smh 🤦🏾♂️
Poole with the deep three attempt..... fail.
Poole with the bad handles.... fail.
Dayum. Why shoot that hree from so deep when you're up by 2 late game. WHY
i have an answer… because he made corner 3 and then theres the overwhelming crowd from that moment on he wants to be the centerpiece of the overwhelming crowd. this man’s ambition is not to win but to be fame and to be praised on. proof: compare his attitude on road games and home games. thank me later.
@@anaknampota2266 Your unfortunately 100% correct. Before this season, I always liked Poole, but now I see why Dreymond socked him in the pre season. He's not a team player.
Brain damage
And once again Draymond, Poole cost us another damn game.. and that final seconds Poole couldve made that pass to Curry early but instead his "I want to be the hero" mentality kicks and and turns over the damn ball... classic.
As a dubs fan it hurts to see ... 😮💨
Jordan Poole 🥶
sad ending to what was a vital game for the Warriors
Not sad for some
Great ending.
Masyado kasi ibinabad si step sa umpisa at klay sa umpisa pa lmg maalat na shooting nilang dalawa....sana nung nasa momentum si poole hindi sya labas pasok sa court well depende sa coach...wala sila naging alternative na playing time...

💪🏻❤️🙏
Poole thought hes the real stephen curry lol
Kudos to KAT and Slomo for that pressure on Draymond. (As a gsw fan) FFS POOLE. how many games are you going to bloody throw away
If you are a Warriors fan, yoy will be dismayed about the turn overs committed in less than 1-minute. Poole keep dribbling the ball then take a long three.. not bothered to make a pass.
Draymond's back at it again
Dominican shooting towns 32 is beast best center
Mr kat its on a mission , he wants the play in or directly to the playoffs.
Warriors is scary😯
#AllEyesNorth 🐺
The Ref tryna help the GSW win with no call foul for Mike Conley when he tried to grab Steph and use their foul to give. That moment backfired when Slowmo Kyle steal the ball and Kat drain the Game leading Three.
And that wasnt even in the Daily Top 10 in the NBA cause its against the dubs 🙊 Shameful.
Poole..pewee...
Kat has improved his J's clutch shot!!!!😱😱😱
0:31 might be the worst uncalled travel i've ever seen. The referee was looking right at Klay too😂
And 2:58 might be one of the worst blown calls of the regular season. Conley himself couldn't believe it.
Omg Warriors. I'm really starting to not believe. Dub Nation? More like L Nation. 😭
how many times poole blow a game cause of TOs and overdribbling? guy has russ like IQ
🐺🔥💯
This shit had me stressin. LFG WOLVES
Slo-Mo with the big steal
How is the ball in Poole's hands with 40sec left when you have Steph, who's arguably the best PG of all time, on the floor STILL IN HIS PRIME??? C'mon Kerr 🤦🏿♂️
Why wouldn’t you give Steph Curry the basketball at the end of the game as he is one of the top five best basketball players of all time along with LeBron, Giannis, Kobe and of course Jordan.
Cess Poole traveled on the step back.
Yup and then klay Carried
Curry's gesture after the turnover shows he actually took the blame or says it's his fault.
Well because it was his fault for that particular play.
Obviously its his fault, run the offball movement half and stop? Who can predict what are you doing next? The ball was passed nicely if he run completely
Curry finna punch Draymond and Jordan.. 🤣
Thompson cant even put his hands up lol
I cannot believe it
Flight about to be mad
1:26 poole dance 😭
I think Green is the player with the most games he loss directly.
The worst decision maker in money time in the nba history
Big shot by KAT🔥
Poole as usual letting the pressure get to him in the crucial moment and D Green can’t do anything in the clutch smh
That shot was for flight
JP's decision making is extremely poor especially with game on the line. He's still so young as a player for them to keep allowing him to make crunch time decisions. What's the point of a deep 3 and you up 2 with steph and klay on the floor? After this season is over Kerr needs to do a bit of some soul searching. I think it's too early to let JP feel he's the man.. he still has quite a bit in the tank with steph, dg and klay.. that 144m got JP feeling hisself a little too much and fkn s**t up quite a bit this season
Poole took the step back 3point shot too early
that deep 3 from Poole was so reckless, not sure if he wanted to play hero ball but that costed so much for the Warriors already
The warriors had no business losing this game. Pooles fault.
Posted this like 3 diff times damn we get it.
Salty?

keep crying buddy, hold the L
KAT 🎉
WARRIORS NEED WIGGINS BACK!
They won this in spite of FT's
That L is on Poole bro, gave up the game with a stupid 3 pointer attempt, and then just missed the pass completely
They need to chill with the bad passing thats causing a lot of turnovers. Klay being lazy on the defense, let Anthony hit the shot.
Really poor on everyone's part on the Warriors. Timeout should have been called after Gobert's free throws to run a play to actually score. Even a simple pick and roll would have been better than that monstrosity. Putting that aside, the warriors keep doing this errant passing all the time and keep causing turnovers. Who is telling them to stop doing that shit? And what the hell is steph thinking? Just hold the ball and go to work. You are one of the best players on the planet. Jordan poole turnovers each season since 2019: 74, 51, 187, 239.
