CP3 was atrocious in this stretch. Passed up a layup and multiple 15 foot mid range shots for wild passes to significantly worse players who weren't even open. He cost them the game.
It's about what I expected. For all the talent he's had around him throughout his career, this dude has always come up short.

Down 1 with 36 seconds left (5:46 in video) Conley falls down from a ball screen leaving Paul with 7 feet of space in each direction and an 8 - 10 foot uncontested jumper/floater which he passes up so Dario Saric can take a contested 3 that Gobert gets a piece of. It would be a bad play for a rookie much less a 19 year vet making $31MM whose known for his mid range shot. Honestly blew my mind how much he shrunk from the moment.

Wolves team height really putting a full court pressure into GS, not only Center and PF taller but SF too. This gets Thompson real frustrated in his position. With these ejections, GS almost steal the game cause' by that momentum turning point, But wolves had managed to overcome the curse. Small ball, lesson learned. Having that said, the remaining games @MIN, wolves most likely win.
Thompson played less than 2 mins so I doubt that was the reason he was frustrated in this game.
