The concept of Baby and the Tsufurian lore is something I hope Dragon Ball Super revisits, because it has more potential than we saw in GT

the Tsufurian stuff is pretty much the reason i like and defend that show. The Baby saga is a genuinely good arc with a lot of good ideas in it.

Dragonball has a ton of interesting lore that should get more fleshed out. It's a shame that Toriyama keeps reconning stuff or has forgotten most of it.
Talking if recons, he says that Toriyama reconned the scouters being made by the ruffles by saying it was friezas tech, but this I would say is more of an extension to the story, he says himself that In 730 is when the saiyans win their war and the ruffles are only ever shown with the gun scouters, and then he says in 731 king vegeta meets frieza, this makes sense because in the broly movie, Freiza shows off new scouters and says they are better than the old ones, and the saiyans are shown using hand scouters later on.

I always thought that the Saiyan/Tuffle war took place like several generations before the time of King Vegeta, and that Saiyan rule of planet Vegeta had been long established by the time Frieza came. I've only watched the dub so I dunno but that's the impression I got from the narrative. And then the Saiyans worked for Frieza for many years before Frieza destroyed their planet. I don't know why but this headcanon feels better to me than it all happening in such a short space of time.
So King Vegeta ruled from age 730 to 731 before Freeza showed up and made him his lap dog?

It's quite possible that there will be. I've said it over and over. Dragon Ball's a gravy train. People all over the world can't get enough of it. In the future we might even see official Dragon Ball universe spinoffs. I could be wrong, but I believe some spinoffs would be very popular. They could do what CZcamsrs and others have been doing for years now. They could shift the focus away from the Saiyans and explore the rest of the Dragon Ball universe. If I were them I would. It would be very lucrative 💲 and there are endless possibilities. Everybody wins. 👍😁

I really appreciate these videos. Dragon Ball was such a big part of my childhood and I still enjoy it to this day. I love being able to come home after whatever kind of day and jump right back into and also learn something I didn't know before.

The No.1 Guy yea your brains aren’t written over if your genetics also foster stronger bodies. How that individual chooses to train or use their ability is still up to that individual. Culture is what drives the thirst for battle. You can see this in our soldiers today. Those on multiple tours find the battle field home even after leaving. So they often pursue activities closely following that level of action or life. Say firearms instructors and such. Others pick up rafting tours. There fight or flight is a daily occurrence.

I had a theory, though not a very strong one, that maybe Vegeta is half Tuffle. Explains why he's short, smarter than most Saiyans and was more compatible with Baby than the others whose bodies got taken over.

*Random question:* Would you play a game that was based on Saiyan's early history and you had to take control of the planet from the Tuffle's and Plantians people; travel the universe 'colonising' planets all the while your character rises up the ranks to become the Leader/King of the Saiyan race?
Funny someone says something like this.
I had an idea for a strategy game where you play as the different Universe 7 races in their ancient histories. So the Saiyans, the Namekians, Frieza’s Race, and even Ancient Humans. The idea is that it was a time of great conflict, and they were all vying for galactic conquest at the time. Each race would have its own style. Saiyans would be heavily offensive, with fewer units but each unit is more powerful on average, and they’d have Super Saiyans and Great Apes as elite units, and theoretical lore characters as leader units, such as Vegeta I, Yamoshi, the original Broly, etc.
Namekians would be defensive, and focus on having similar unit variety as the Saiyans without being as aggressive. They’d have Super and Great Namekians as elite units.
Frieza’s Race would be the “spammer” army, with a bunch of cheap, easy to produce, and expendable units. They’d all be in their “first forms.” Their more expensive units would be in their second forms, elite units in their third forms, and HQ would be in their Final Form.
Ancient Humans would be balanced. Not terrible at anything, but not amazing at anything either. I think I’d steal from Halo’s book and make them really technologically advanced, which is how they keep up, with their HQ units being actual masters of Ki. And I’d probably throw Olibu from filler in as one of them.

I'd love to see a clone wars like cartoon about the saiyan wars
This reminded me of a theory I made long ago. The root of it came from that King Vegeta was a Hybrid of Saiyan and Tuffles. Vegeta said in canon that hybrid Saiyans can sometimes wield incredible reserves of power. It would make sense because King Vegeta easily transitioned the technology to the truffles. What made them royalty was that they held this level of intelligence with the Saiyans nature battle power. Like maybe how Vegeta had full control of his Ozaru form could speak on this. This allows a perfect transition of power because of King Vegeta III would have already known how to work the technology. Most likely he was supposed to be a symbol of peace between the two races. Yet he chooses to dominate the truffles instead of settling in peace. That once they relinquished their technology to him he allowed them to escape and keep the planet for himself. Around this time he also realized that Tarble carried more Truffle characteristics than Saiyan so he exiled him as well. Which could mean there are more hybrids and the original Saiyan race to held in the universe. The reason why they weren't discovered was most likely their power levels were too low.
This also lead to another theory it is a slight tweak to the Tarble storyline. That Tarble was actually lying when he came for Vegeta's aid. That Tarble actually wanted to recruit Vegeta. That during the time of Frieza's and King Cold's death Tarble has been venturing the galaxy taking over the Frieza empire and using them for his own gain. Also during this time, Tarble discovered more Saiyans survivors who were overlooked due to their battle power. I believe King Vegeta III was aware of his son's aptitude that he was far more intelligent than himself. That his son was more of a cold-hearted tactician than even himself. Seeing the potential strategist that Tarble was King Vegeta III planned for him to take others to create another Saiyan Colony. Tarble would then find the Tuffles again and using them he planned to create his own Tarble then orchestrated for the alien brothers to come and kill Vegeta to test his strength. However Tarble realized that Vegeta lost much of his cold-heartedness since they last met. Seeing him with a family and friends Tarble lost respect for his brother. That Tarble adored every evil exploit Vegeta ever done. He was proud of the sayian warrior. That he organized an entire army so that Vegeta could lead them and the rest of the saiyans to their highest point. Before Tarble left he used a tracking device to keep tabs on Vegeta. Ever since they met he has been seeking to return Vegeta to his former self. That he planned to kidnap the family he made on earth. Thus would force Vegeta to ask doctor briefs to develop a spacecraft and search for his family. Each and every planet he goes to would be one that he had wiped out. The Z fighters would discover this and remember just how evil Vegeta use to be. At first Vegeta acts like it doesn't effect him. That's when he sees family pictures that he wiped out with his own hands. There's more and I know its kinda dark, but I really wanted to make a Vegeta based arc. One that would force Vegeta to relieve his past and increase his bonds with the Z fighters.
Been waiting years for someone to do an in-depth on the Saiyan war. Hopefully it builds to my hype lol

Vegeta also said to goku that he was stronger than his son in the cell arc. Yet goku was way passed that ssj3. If goku would have just went ssj3 vs vegeta. He would have wiped the floor with him. Goku hid his power to have a even spar with vegeta.
Goku conceded to fight vegeta in another area so he wouldn’t kill any more innocent bystanders. But he never took that fight seriously cause buu was the main threat

I wish the creators decided to make Bulma’s family descendants of the Tuffles. Like maybe instead of being sent to other planets to conquer and sell, the Tuffles could have used their intellect and technology to spread peace and prosperity to other worlds. This could explain why a Tuffle or Tuffles was on earth and fell in love with an earthing resulting in the brief’s family line. When you think about it Bulma and Dr. Briefs both look strikingly similar to the Tuffles shown in the flashbacks. This would also explain their intelligence and give more weight to Bulma and Vegeta’s relationship. It may sound dumb... but I think it would have been cool.
The only problem with that is that Humans already get underpowered and shit on as is, taking away their token intellect is not only further insulting humanity, but it also further validates the lack of human OC's, and also just dilutes the importance of humans in comparison to other races.

It'll be cool if they adapted some of this and made it so that a few of them got away to rebuild their race in a corner of the galaxy. They could find out about it through Jaco (cuz they never really ask) and turns out they're big contributors of the galactic patrol. Open hostility to Goku and especially Vegeta, Vegeta feeling a bit of guilt and constant squabbles over bad blood.
I could see a story arc about this.

What needs to happen is simple:
Shine some more light on Planet Sadala because Cabba mentioned there being a King there. Take a few episodes to let Vegeta learn some more history about everything. Make some of GT canon to where we can get a better understanding of this Tuffle-Saiyan war. Also, explain who King Vegeta really is. Supposedly Prince Vegeta is a fourth. & Last, but not least if "Yamoshi" is the king of Sadala?? I wish Goku would wish his dad back.
I'm willing to bet anything that when super returns, it's gonna fill us in on ALOT of things. Especially now since it's many other universes with Gods & angels. Also hoping the series to run like Z did. We need more than 131 episodes. At least 200! That way nothing is rushed & we can get the stories & arcs in full depth

Geekdom mentioning Tuffles being short gave me a thought; what if Vegeta's mom was Tuffle or at least part Tuffle? It might explain his and Tarble's height, their less brutish appearance, and above average intellect (for saiyans). Vegeta being as powerful as he is could come from being a hybrid and even Tarble is actually relatively strong considering he could stand up to the Freeza level Abo and Cabo enough to give them "some trouble". I doubt this is Toriyama's plan but it could be an interesting twist seeing as we've never seen Vegeta's mother in the series. It would be an enormous shock to Vegeta's pride and possibly give him a new level of character development that takes him beyond "the warrior race"

That could be interesting, Vegeta's Mom has not had no real impact. Unlike Goku's mom the hypothetical Queen of Sayians could of been expanded on. Did she die post Tarble? Do women Saiyans particuarly the 'Queen' even have 'Status' to begin with. Maybe she was just one of several concubines...aaand I'm reading too much into this.

Before the Broly movie I always wondered why Prince Vegeta isn't known as Vegeta Jr. but after watching the movie I understand why he isn't known as Vegeta Jr.
The Tsufurians sort of remind me of the Elves from Black clover.
