In fairness tho Cody he was sacrificed to put Seth on top. Think about it this way, cody for years was upper midcard and while there he actually gave Seth his first match with a main roster guy where cody was the heel but still got the crowd and cody worked with Seth didn't have to and he put Seth over. He went on the live events with Seth introduced him . When Seth was by no means ready compared to cody he was given reign after reign while cody was buried. So he left bc he wanted more and WWE wasn't gonna give it to him. Seth was never put in that position for all the years that Seth bitched and complained about wanting more he was never less than a mainevent guy. He loses only to mainevent guys. So idc what Seth feels when it was your time cody did his job now it's yours. It took years for cody to fight and reach where he is now. Seth had the benefit of the NXT program and triple h determined that it becomes a success and vince behind roman. Who was behind cody?? Cody that's who , dusty was his biggest fan. But dusty knew if he said anything ppl would say he's too close to it. It's because cody is his baby boy. Just saying Seth has had many years at the top. Cody put together a better presentation and it's more marketable and cody owns all of it. That's Cody's hard work and marketing genius.

Cody left after he realized when he was trying to discuss with a creative team member they stopped him and said he was busy but noticed there was a black screen. So he noticed how lazy creative got and how they wanted to keep his stardust gimmick going. He noticed there wasn’t much future with the company so he talked to HHH & bounced.. HHH was all for it. Seth is great in the ring he delivers in promos & has accomplished far a lot and still has another run to go. Cody just wants to get to the top like anybody else & he’s been through the same disadvantages too (WWE Creative).
Great story telling....Cody and Seth will be at war for the belt soon...Can't wait to see how this story plays out...Unhappy Seth is the narrative to this story...

Facts & Cody was just handed everything when he realized the grass isn’t greener on the other side. I wouldn’t necessarily say Seth should be in that position. He’s been pushed & given a lot over the years. He’s up there with Reigns. There’s actually things he’s accomplished that Reigns hasn’t. Headlining Mania is probably the only thing Reigns has over him. Somebody else deserve a chance. Finn perhaps who got screwed over after his injury.
Seth has gotten to be the mountain top plenty of times in WWE while Cody always got midcarded or stuck with Stardust half the time due to the weird dynamic that Vince had for the Rhodes family. Cody has seen how Vince's company was and luckily got out in time to make a name for himself elsewhere and when the time was right he came back to what is now(mostly) a more fresh take on WWE under the guide of Triple H. Seth has had plenty of push and will in the future too but right now to not give Cody the push would possibly damper the impact his return has.

I loved when Seth was champion, he was a good ass heel when he cashed in at mania.... but at the same time he wasn't forced to be stardust or whatever the fuck cody was forced to go through.
He’s not wrong. Seth has been booked terribly these last few years. He needs to be champion again ASAP.
Respect the whole rhodes family if you know you know. I also understand his side though. There is always a way to have both of them get equal shine. Storylines are the key, deeper character development and creating a wwe timeline that show evolution of every icon.
Seth is right. Man did Wrestlemania 33 with a legitimate knee injury, not to mention did his best to get Murphy over with the Messiah gimmick, then reinvented himself to remain relevant and fresh.
It doesnt matter if cody came back or not.. seth would not be in the main event scene right now feuding with roman. Peridot maybe they will allow him in the womens division the way he been dressing

Based on his statement, I suggest that Ziggler get a main event push one more time before his retirement. He has been doing all of that longer than Seth.

I’ve been saying Cody jumping the line will cause tension in the lockeroom because they’ve been there, they’ve been loyal, Seth’s been there consistently and Cody interfered with Sami’s momentum as well.
