Taurus GX4 Takes Glock Sights!

  • The new Taurus GX4 offers a similar feel to the Sig P365 and the Springfield Armory Hellcat, but offers one feature that those models do not. it takes aftermarket Glock sights! Glocks are notorious for having awful factory sights so most gun shops in America carry some sort of replacement Glock sights to upgrade. this makes upgrades for the the GX4 really easy and readily available. I recommend the TRUGLO tritium pro sights and the Real Avid master sight pusher for this upgrade.

I like the Allen head screw on the Taurus front sight. It's a much less awkward system to me. One big difference between Glocks and the GX4 is that the GX4 has a chassis system. What that means is if you want to buy a replacement grip for whatever reason on your Glock, it cost a few hundred dollars and will have to go through an FFL. As with the Sig P320 and P365, you can simply remove the chassis on the GX4 and replace the plastic grip. This is the second video I've seen with the Real Avid pusher. I think I need one.

I painted the white dot that was on the front sight neon yellow with liquid craft acrylic paint which worked very well on my Phoenix Arms hp22a, and I did but put a touch of neon orange nail polish on the tops of the left and right side of my rear sight, and I found the sweet spot is to have the yellow dot just a hair above the top of the rear sights and it is dead on.
