I didn’t think he would lose, but after seeing how difficult he made that for himself, I think he should retire on a win.
@@STRmw2he was never genuinely in trouble really at any moment in that fight tho. Got his back took, escaped cleanly, took clean shots, wasn’t rocked or wobbled, and only got put on his back because he pulled guard on advantageous positions for a guillotine. He handled business greatly against a very talented fighter in BSD. He’s still very dangerous at this point.

@@robtothejuice Yeah he’s dangerous because his stand up but he ate one too many shots, body triangle, keeps making bad decisions with those guillotines, I think his defence in the clinch is also just a ticking clock til it really bites him. None of the other top 5 are going to have the holes

@@millenniumal5927 just because they both cut to 155 doesnt mean they walk into the cage at the same weight. Aljo was cutting like 35-40lbs to make 135. Guys like Alex Pereira also walk around pretty heavy and also have to make a big weight cut before they rehydrate after the weigh in

Benoît was sick all week on antibiotics, that's why his shots were lacking power. But congrats to Poirier, very gentleman and talented fighter, he put out a nasty KO.
I seriously could not believe how many people thought bsd would win.
Dustin's age and his opponent was huge and on a KO win streak
He literally almost did win. But due to not being as experienced of a fighter as Dustin and still not being in his prime, he has many flaws he needs to fix & improve upon, such as learning to put his hands up. Besides that, BSD has all the potential to pull a major upset like that against a high ranked fighter.
