When I first heard the music I thought to myself “No way Vince would ever include Eminem into his stuff, no fucking way” and I laughed so hard at it. Then the vocal came up and got confused as hell lol
Exactly. That's why I kinda hate this dessert part. We know that they won't die, so why did they waste the duration by showing them walking? It's eighth episode, 2 more until finale and they gave me this? This episode felt like a filler episode.
I can't believe my brain didn't make the connection between the thermal insulation cloth and Chuck's electromagnetic shielding space blanket. That adds even more depth and realism to an episode already packed to the gills. Cheers mate.
Perfect lyrics and beat for this scene and captured the mood of a long hot day in the desert. Also it's extra unique because it's song that was all of the following: Pop, funk, soul, and rock.
BCS made me realise... Mike is everything Walter set out to be, and he's been doing it far longer. This episode perfectly tells that, when Saul gives up? He says, "Everything I do I do for my family, I don't care what happens to me." Walter started out the same, but soon, he was overwhelmed by his new role, he had a new son that wasn't disabled in Jesse, perhaps the son he always wanted, and the power got to his head. The DEA had been trying to screw the Cartel, Fring and everyone for so long, but here comes Walter, fucks everything up and doesn't even intend to at first.
Loved hearing I Got The... Discovered it a few years ago and love playing it. People always think it's stopped and moved onto to My Name Is halfway through. Then the strings creep in like "Nah, bitch, this is some soul for your arse." Gotta admit this episode had me wondering which it was for a second.
@@jasontheguywhocandostuff9928 Actually Labi Siffre gave his approval for Eminem's use of this song! But he made him change some of the words in the lyrics.
Hi i'm Saul Goodman, did you know you have rights? Constitution says you do, and so do I. I believe until proven guilty; every man woman and child is innocent. AND THATS WHY I FIGHT FOR YOU ALBUQUERQUE
Mike doesn’t seem like the type of person to get close with anyone other than his family and the exception of Gustavo Fring. I think Mike respects Saul, but he also wouldn’t have any qualms with beating him for information or taking him out if the situation called for it. Mike was simply helping Saul here since it was in his Gus’s best interest that the bail money was successfully delivered to the courts. I doubt Mike would’ve saved Saul purely out of the goodness of his heart. Mike only ever helps Saul if money is involved. With that said, I do think Mike enjoys Saul’s company. Saul is an amusing character and a good change of mood for someone whose usually as angry and depressed as Mike is. In Breaking Bad, we even see Mike raise a glass as a toast to Saul when he was watching one of his commercials in a bar.
Also, we’ve seen that Mike does hurt the people he respects. Werner Ziegler was a good friend of Mike’s, but when Gus ordered his assassination, Mike had to do what he had to do, even if he didn’t want to.
