I just started skimboarding, and every time I drop my skimboard in the sand it gets stuck. On CZcams everyone seems to slide easily on the sand. Will adding this wax help my skimboard slide on the sand? Thanks. I bought a used skimboard on OfferUp so it’s not brand new.
Yeah it will help you slide on sand. Try throwing your board in a little deeper water. Sometimes the wet sand can look like enough water to glide but at times it can be too shallow. Try to wax the bottom of your board and deeper water! Should help!
Every time you skim or every other time you skim. Depends on how much you skimboard and how fast the coating wears off, you will be able to feel the slickness on the bottom.

Can u use eel snot on wooden boards?
I wouldn’t recommend using because it’s wood. If you need a slick bottom on a wood skimboard try to sand it down.

Can I use snowboard wax?
If it’s similar to car wax then yes. EEL SNOT is specially made for skimboards.

Afif Jef Not speed wax like i put on the bottom. It needs surf/sticky wax. Look up Sticky Bumps or Ms. Palmers
