@@Knarfy actually, create has an ingame config that allows you to change limits like amount of blocks in a contraption or max train speed. so if you made a train have like a max speed of 900 kilometers per hour, and made it consist of 2000 blocks or so, you might crash your game

@@simoncomo4987 i think it'll make some kind of dent. mumbo jumbo once tried to make a contraption using over 2000 blocks rotate 180 degrees and it LAGGED. his pc is practically from NASA
create is one of those mods that finds an incredible place halfway between the builder niche and the redstoner niche, like id genuinely recommend just toying around with it

@@br0wning To be fair there are a lot of mods and mod packs that have the goal of making minecraft more complicated for the sake of it. I wouldn't call that universal fun.
@@desmodeus2866 i suppose you’re right but i don’t think anyone would subject themselves to something they didn’t get some kind of enjoyment out of even if that enjoyment is overcoming a challenge
funfact: Flywheel, a dependency for Create, actually doubles as an optimization mod!
so on top of the already existing optimizations, Flywheel optimizes entities and other things, especially the things Create does!
Lagging it out takes a lot of effort.
Example; it's good for an *excessive* amount of chests, as entities such as that, paintings, and item frames, iirc, are affected by flywheel's optimization.
Oh good more things that made my job harder 😅
@@Knarfy granted, it's possible to turn Flywheel's rendering backend off, which would actually have a significant hit on performance, especially with how many wheels you have placed. :P

There is a mod that completely removes any restrictions with train track placement, which you could crash in about 20 seconds

Create is one of those things you have to know what you have access to. It's literally a mod for autistic level engineers who can plan every detail out and test everything before importing the schematic with that cannon you found. Love every moment of it =3

I love the create mod and I hope you make more videos with it maybe even do a video on the create mod with your friends
Shaders are also performance assisting in most cases, so that would’ve made it even harder.

unfourtunately for you, create utilizes flywheel, which optimize entity models such as the ones used by create like crazy. without flywheel, your processor would have alredy fried
A combination of not being goof enough at the Create Mod and being too good at tuning your PC is what killed you. XD Hilarious. I wonder if I should rub in in and tell Knarfy that using a set of servos he could have easily copy pasted this schematic to try and flip whole chunks and crashed his computer easily, even easier if you added a bunch of moving parts like sound machines and elevators. XD

the schematic stuff could possibly do the job but you would need to have the schematic file to use like some insane build then put it all over the world
We can play create with tons of automation including trains and just have lags, but no crash

Create mod is one of the most well optimized mods on mineraft
Knarfy should do this again but invite someone who knows create well (around 4:30 shows clearly how much Knarfy knows about it)

I know this video is old but i still need to say this so with my 4 year create mod expertise i think that the best way to crash the game with it is by making a lot of trains going on various chunks know you might think: "oh its because they are giant entities makes sence" well not realy but it does help its because trains can load chunks so its basicaly A GIANT MOVING CHUNK LOADER™ so the plan is make various trains with the max quantitie of carts make them go to the nether and back to the overworld with as much data in them as possible (like fluids and stuff) but yeah you woudnt have time for that but just a fun thought
My only other exposure to Create is the series some of the hermicraft members did a little while ago, which struggled so bad with lag that I was blindsided by how well it ran here
put 2 creative motors in opposite directions then hold right click. It will instantly break the motor

Download all the realistic mods, along with shaders, and spawn 100 of each mob, then replace all blocks with tnt and make a creeper explode. :) a suggestion to you Knarfy to destroy Minecraft.
You could've just put conveyor belts at the place where you wanted to loop the items around instead of hoppers. lol

To crash w the create mod try building a ginormous drill and drill to bedrock on a rope pulley at 256rpm, that worked for me
Go to version 1.13, and in a command block, put in this command: /setblock ~ ~ ~1 furnace{RecipeLocation0:"minecraft:iron_ingot",RecipeAmount0:2147483647,RecipesUsedSize:1s,Items:[{Slot:2b,id:"minecraft:iron_ingot",Count:1b}]}
This summons a furnace, and in that furnace is an iron ingot, but the game thinks that this is like a billion iron ingots, so it gives you way too much exp when you take the ingot out. (Doesn’t work in later versions)

There's a bug on 1.16.3 only! When a 'deployer' interracts with a sapling of any kind the game crashes due to an unhandled error.

A one command can kill any pc no matter what

And tile drops should be on
(Idk what was the gamerule that enables and disable block drops)
And the command block should be in the middle of the air so it doesn't get destroy
And drop a item on the ground and enjoy the lag

There is a way to break your PC easily with Create actually, yes the mod is well optimized but there is one weakness of the mod that can make your beefy PC become the next potato.
No spoiler how tho ;)
However.... since we are friend and possible future partner I will give you a hint, "Make the machine render a lot of items"

just glue a train to the train tracks then assemble it
All you need to do is use the paste command and paste a 250 by 250 by 250 cube of water wheels will lag crash unknown.
