  • Follow the maintenance progression of my recent purchase of this beautiful 1966 Mercedes Benz 250s. After sitting for several years, cars will need several items addressed before you can jump in them and drive down the road. The first thing that I needed to address was a poor performing brake system.
This video will showcase the results of deferred maintenance, especially when a vehicle has been static for years. But, how rewarding it will be to get this car back to the original driving condition that makes these cars some of the most desirable classics on the planet.

Helpful video, Clint. I see the jack stands there behind you, was wondering if the set at the front of the car are also supporting? Are they on the bumper brackets?

Thank you, and good eye... but those are my "just in case" jackstands, lol. The car is mainly being supported by the 2 jackstands under the subframe, just as it becomes level under the chassis. I always like to have a backup in case the primaries fail. Yes, they are under the front framework where the bumper attaches.
