But if you've been here for some time, you know how much we love to interact with the locals, and guys, this time we met a really special one. Guess if he makes Lenka cry;)
It was such a treat to be part of Capella family, the nicest staff, the best food, we could talk about it over and over.

@@familyontherun for more experiences some the best hotel in bali maybe you can stay at melia bali with its private white sandy beach and swim able for the kids cause there's no big waves like in the south part like kuta,canggu,seminyak or uluwatu, you can also check karma kandara resort in uluwatu, or maybe you can stay in Duma cabin in munduk area near the famous site temple ulun danu bratan lake temple and tons of waterfall nearbay like sekumpul and fiji waterfall the best waterfall in area 👌 😊🙏
I’ve seen Bali in movies before, so one can be a little sceptic. This gave me hope that Bali is exactly as beautiful as I always thought. Thank you for showing this side of one of the most beautiful places on the planet!!

If you want nature tourism on the island of Java, you can visit the Pangalengan tea tour, Ciwidey in Bandung, West Java which is most often visited by foreign tourists, mountain tours you can visit Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen in East Java,then the white crater, Mount Tangkuban Perahu in West Java. The best waterfall tour on the island of Java you can visit the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Madakaripura which is the second highest in Indonesia and Kapas Biru which is located in East Java as well. If you want cultural tourism in Java you can visit Borobudur temple which is the largest Buddhist temple in the world, Prambanan temple which is the second largest temple in Southeast Asia, then there are Sewu temples, Plaosan temples and many more temples on the island of Java that I can't mention, If you want to visit palaces on the island of Java, you can visit the Surakarta palace in Central Java and the Yogyakarta palace in Yogyakarta. If you want a tour of history in Indonesia, you can visit the old city of Jakarta, and the old city of Semarang in Central Java. In term of the natural beauty, there are many more beautiful places or beaches outside Bali in Indonesia. But for me as Indonesian, what makes Bali very special and different is their culture embedded and practiced in daily life. Bali also has fit for many type of traveler from backpacker to ultra rich because there are many options from accommodation, restaurant etc. Btw one of the best Hotel in the world in Indonesia is Nihiwatu in Sumba. Enjoy your holiday in Indonesia, and maybe you can escape to another island near Bali such as Lombok or Flores (Labuan Bajo).
We would love to explore the whole Indonesia, do you have some suggestions which places are the best with kids?
@@familyontherun I thought it is depend on what you are looking for during holiday. My suggestions :
1. Bali : Watersport in Nusa Dua, WaterBom Bali in Kuta (one of the best waterbom in Asia), Bali Safari Marine and Park, Rafting in Ayung River, Bali Seawalker
2. Labuan Bajo (Flores) - Home of ancient Komodo Dragon : 3 days 2 nights Live onBoard in Komodo National Park (KNP). The main attraction is visit Komodo Dragon - UNESCO National Park. Another activity you can hike in padar Island, swimming in Pink Beach or many beautiful snorkeling spots there including Manta Ray point. As Indonesian, i can say KNP is one of the most beautiful place in Indonesia.
3. Yogyakarta (Java) - a cultural and education center in Indonesia : Here you can visit Borobudur (Biggest Buddhist Temple in the world- older than Ankor Wat), Prambanan Temple (biggest Hindu Temple in Indonesia), shopping Indonesian cultural stuffs in Malioboro, Experience royal history at the Keraton Yogya, watching Ramayana Ballet in Prambanan, Merapi Volcano Jeep Tour etc. If you are into Luxury Hotel you can try Amanjiwo Resort near the Borobudur. David Beckham family, Nicole Kidman, Richard Gere, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg are some famous people had stay in there.
4. Malang (East Java). Malang is not really famous for international visitor but very famous as Indonesian family holiday destination. There are many things to see in Malang and near area. Your family can visit Jatim Park 1, Jatim Park 2 ( Batu Secret Zoo, Jatim Park 3 (Dino Park), Museum Angkut (Transportation Museum), Malang Night Paradise, picking apples and many more. From Malang you can make 1-2 hours drive to visit Taman Safari Prigen (The largest Safari Park in Indonesia) , see the most beautiful sunrise in Indonesia in Bromo Volcano
5. Bandung (the capital city of west Java). Same as Malang, Bandung is one of the best family holiday destination and also weekend escape place for Jakartans. There are many natural landscape such as Tangkuban Perahu (Volcano), White Crater and tea plantation in Ciwidey, Try Glamping in Lembang or Ciwidey and many kids friendly attraction in Lembang. Dont forget to visit cultural performance in Saung Angklung Udjo.
6. Bogor - when you stay near Jakarta or Bandung you can visit Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor (TSI), one of the most best Zoo In Asia. Your kids can feed animal from the car, watching animals show and they also has Panda Collection. Very easy to spend full day in TSI, but avoided go there on Saturday or Sunday. Bogor has residential palace for Indonesian President in Bogor Botanical Garden - one of the oldest Botanical Garden in the world. It also has night tour programme called Glow, where you can see lighting show in botanical garden including video mapping on the trees. Actually there are other things to see such as Taman Bunga Nusantara (flower garden) etc
All area above has many options for accomodation, including Luxurious Hotel
