    Jennifer was bad ass and so damn entertaining. She really was one of the players that made the sport even more popular. The original women's tennis court bully. Miss her so much

    I was moved by JC's tears during her speech; she sincerely felt grateful for her induction. Throughout her tennis career she was just herself, saying what she thought and how she felt.

    Jennifer Capriati still looks just as beautiful here as when she started. I love her so damn much. She is definitely one of my favorites next to Steffi Graf, Navratilova, and Chris Evert.

    Congrats Jennifer! I knew Jennifer when she was 12, and she was a great kid. She’s one of the All Time Greatest Tennis Champions. The world only saw half of what she could have done, but that’s ok. She had a wonderful career. No one had been so good at such a young age. First it was Maureen Connolly, then Chris Evert, then Tracy Austin, Andrea Jaeger, Monica Seles, Martina Hingis, Serena and Venus and Jennifer Capriati. And she’s BEAUTIFUL too! Ya, it was heart warming to see her reflect on her unbelievable journey in tennis.

      Do you think that it is fair that only MTF’s can make it in women’s professional tennis? They can have their own league and be honest about it.

    I love Monica and Jennifer! Miss these two. They, along with the Williams sisters, Hingis, Davenport, Henin, Clijsters, Pierce, really helped the women's tennis to its peak. Love them all!

    • @saintelmosfire85
      @saintelmosfire85 Před 3 lety

      @@david_fl507 Nope. I'm talking about power tennis. Graf's backhand, though has its own slice approach, isn't power tennis at all. I'm talking about strong shots on both sides. Made a mistake there though by including Hingis.

      @@saintelmosfire85 graf's topspin backhand, though rarely used, was a powerful shot. too bad she never utilized it more. i never thought henin was a power player, ever. she was one of the poorest sports to come along in the game, however.

    Yes, people make mistakes... but mistakes are still mistakes. HOF inductees should be held to a higher standard - they should be role models throughout their lives. Capriati and Hingis, as good tennis players as they were, are not good role models. One could argue if that matters - one could argue that it does matter. Seles is a true HOF inductee with the highest standards.

    • @stacked7476
      @stacked7476 Před 4 lety +2

      Oh okay, so they should be excluded because they lived normal lives? A role model has to behave like the Pope? Perhaps role models are more influential towards younger people when they actually go through some dark times themselves and make mistakes that they regret. A role model in my opinion is someone who can inspire others to persevere through the bad times and come out of them a better person.
