Martina and Chris were very lucky that Tracy had to bow out early. Tracy was right with Chris head to head and though Navratilova had an edge it would have just been a matter of time for things to shift. Legendary focus and determination along with being a class act, way to go Tracy.

What an absolute thoroughly enjoyable and informative 50 minutes of tennis listening. Ken's memory is as unassailable as his backhand down the line whether you deem to call it slice or flat. His insights into the history of the amateur pro tennis days are enlightening. He is a humble man who I had the pleasure of briefly meeting in Australia about 10 years ago. Here Ken indirectly suggests that racquet head size be reduced and that gut strings be enforced and that one foot remain on the ground when serving. These changes may well make today's game far more enjoyable requiring more finesse and all court play and not just sheer power.
