Please please please never abandon the MIDI workflow here. This is the first program I see outside of touchdesigner that has built in ADSR, LFOs and stuff like this. Thank you so much

I feel like as we gather more resources and such we will probably have a headless EmberGen that could be used for live shows and such. But thats FAR in the future.

@@jangafx Just the fact that you even think about this makes me so happy. MIDI integration is really the best of ideas for real time. Much love

hi , i want try a scene where theres clouds and rain , any way to have clouds in freeze simulation and rain particles gravity moving down? simulation make evrything frozen , so theres any way to damp clouds movement to static and let particles be moved by a force line like gravity?

Great video. Been on an embergen deepdive for a few months and really like it.
I Do understand why the timebase is 60, etc, but I was hoping there was a really definitive workflow for 24p footage. As far as I know you do everything at 60, but convert the viewer to preview at 24? It would just be nice, when importing 24p animations and backplates if there was an overall 'your project frame rate' setting.

There is thankfully! In your animated mesh, override the FPS to be 60, in the camera backplate setting put that as 60 as well. Once you export you can play that back at 24fps and it'll all be sync'd.

Will have to wait for the EmberGen 1.1 release in a couple weeks. We have that functionality coming soon! For now you can hand animate the forces to be where you need.
