Kid David was unstoppable here. He just really hit the beats so well. He won this one with musicality and technique. My man Shigekix put up a hell of a fight though, especially that final round. Even though he lost here, he has had an amazing year. Battling Kid David, Hong 10, Issei (Amazing to see live!) and Menno in one year is just awesome.

People on youtube are dumb. There's more to bboying than just throwing the most difficult and complicated maneuvers on the floor. Dancing also takes showmanship, artistry in presentation, and connection with the music and atmosphere and the crowd. Kid David was so entertaining to watch, you couldn't wait for his next round. Shingekix did not give that vibe. he was boring to watch.
Shige won on content alone. Yeah yeah David is sick but interpretation (how stylish or funky) is not the bedrock of judging. The rounds were to short with not many answers to what Shige was busting out. Am I missing something good here?
RuggedHawaiian Kid David won because he danced. He had good floor presence, good presentation and set up for his moves, and just so enjoyable to watch. Shigekix have had the powermove arsenal and difficulty, but man, that boy was really boring to watch. Bboying is a dance, it's a entertainment. Kid David was the entertainer. KD won.
