Mark, next time you want to record your game in VR. Do it on the green screen.
It will give us (the Viewers) a tremendous moment of immersion in what you are doing.
Playing something scary. And we will see not only what you see. But you are in the background too. Close to danger. Which will add "Sharpness" to the stage.
And you will not need to worry about standing backwards to the camera. Because there will be a feeling that you are looking where the viewer is.
You will be Almost like a hero from the third person game.
It will make you more than just your head in the window. But almost a real participant in the events.
Like Isaac Clarke on Ishimur. Like Leon Kenedy in Resident Evil.

a couple days ago I heard a strange sound in my room at night so for the next 10 minutes I sat there shining my light back and forth while debating if I should get up and investigate or go back to sleep. I literally fucking screamed outloud in the middle of the night because an unplugged power cable was dragging a trash bag down. my body was in full fight or flight. it was preparing to either bludgeon something with my bare hands or run at a cheetah's pace.

Small hint collection:
-During a hunt, the crucifix does nothing.
Smudge sticks on the other hand, will keep the ghost away from you during a hunt. For that to work, they need to be lit and held in your hand, not thrown.
Then the ghost will stop following you for a little bit. If you break line of sight while the ghost is "confused", the ghost might either wander off or look for another target.
However, if the ghost is a Banshee and you're the selected target, it will resume hunting you until you leave the house or die.
-Audio does not give away your location, line of sight is everything.
-Spirit box only works when the lights in the ghost's room are off.
-The only ghost that can outrun you (as long as you're in sight) is the Revenant.
Of course, all the other ghosts can sill catch you, if you don't take direct routes or get caught on objects.
-Line of sight will not be broken by doors when the ghost is a Wraith. The Wraith also produces the least amount of stepping noises.
-Poltergeist is the only ghost that leaves fingerprints and ghost orbs. Meaning if both of these appear, it's guaranteed to be a Poltergeist without any further evidence required.
-If a ghost switches lights on rather than just off, it hints at being either a Poltergeist or Jinn.
-The Mare mostly just turns lights and the fuse box off, but not back on again.
-When your / your teams sanity is high and hunts happen more often than usual, the ghost type is Demon.
This information is unrelated to what Mark did or didn't do, just generally good to know.
Good for me to know when I play on vr! I appreciate the advice and tips
To add to this:
-Swearing aggravates ghosts (so, screaming “back off bitch” isn’t ideal)
- if dropped, a voodoo doll will fly towards the ghost’s room
-not all floor creaks mean something! Each map has its own ambiance to add to the creepiness. (Footsteps and doors are a whole ‘nother can of worms)
-demons start hunting at 50% sanity, most ghosts it’s under 30. Banshees however, can hunt whenever if you’re unlucky enough.
-crucifixes must be dropped on the floor prior to a hunt to be affective. They have a limited area of effect (with banshees there is a larger area of affect).
-Multiple video cameras (ans tripods) are an advantage if you can afford them! Ghost orbs can be super finnicky so you want to have ever angle of the room covered.
-Phantoms can take the shape of a player when spawned in (very rare, super creepy)
-When hunting, you want to find a room to hide in (preferably far away from ghost room) and hide behind something that obscures the lime of sight.
-Not all shades are written as “alone” ghosts on the board. They can be labeled as an “everyone” ghost.
-Glowsticks can be placed by salt to see if the ghost leaves footprints (only Wraiths do not) or used to check for fingerprints.
-The ghost cannot hear you while it is hunting. You can’t draw the ghost to you by sound, only sight
Could swore smudge sticks don't do that. As far as I've seen. They cause a ghost to become unable to leave the room that has been smudged. That has been shown to be true by games where I've smudged a room with a crucifix and the ghost and the ghost will not leave the room for a long time until smudge wears off. Also making it unable to spawn because it's trapped in the crucifix room. Remove the crucifix and the ghost will hunt normally
Crucifix have a AOE and have to be dropped within 10 meters or so of the ghost prior to the hunt. And the ghost has to ve within that 10 metes for it not to hunt
I had a mare the other day turn on lights... it was interesting to say the least, that was the only way I knew it was the ghost room as I had already checked the room with the thermometer and got nothing.
I have also had ballsy shades that only hunted once everyone was together in its room instead of being like the usual every day shy shade.

I downloaded the game a few days ago and i haven't played it since so after watching this I decided to play the game, and when it was quiet for a few mins all the lights turned off and some bitch just started to sing "Ring around the Rosey" I ran for the door as fast as i could and called my freinds for help too scary
I would definitely recommend playing with friends at first. It definitely lowers the fear factor by at least a bit
