Why do the colors on this device look better than Onyx devices? Is it because of K3?
A 8" kaleido 3 device with sd card support with black bezels and no cameras is the exact device I was hoping for. But it is chinese only isn't it? So I suppose there is no hope it'll become available on amazon US... I've considered the S6 color +, but I really don't like the white bezels, unfortunately. If only the boox tab mini c had an sd card slot.

How about battery life?
Both Good E-Reader and Bigme’s product page say the V6 has front and rear cameras, but I didn’t notice them and no mention was made of them during the unboxing video or in this one. Does the V6 have cameras for document scanning?

Was the time stamp from the unboxing video? The part where it was mentioned that the V6 is based on the S6 Color Lite?
If so, a “yes it has cameras” or “no, cameras were left out of the V6” would have been more informative. The only place I found specs for the Lite was on an Amazon page, which doesn’t really tell me anything about the V6 since features could have been dropped to cut costs.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out to me. At that point in the video they mention the cameras are gone from the Guoyue, and I don’t see them in shown in the video. But it’s confusing since both Good E-Reader’s and Bigme’s product page for the V6 says it has them.
They should update the product page if this is the case.
@@2011Kestrel I guess they just copy-pasted specs and forgot to change them, because let`s be honest, this device is just a copy of Bigme S6 Color Lite
Would love to see the Guoyue G5W 10inch black and white model here. There's very little information available online.
I too checked the specs of that model. It will be a very sluggish device with only 2 GB Ram . You can consider Bigme Inknote S with 4 gb ram and has two cameras. They should reduce the price by getting away with the cameras😅

@@rideathome I had a Bigme and it was paper like and good to write on but you never know and its not easy to find out!
I’ve seen pics of the V6 showing what looks like page turn buttons on the device. Now I’m guessing that the buttons are part of the cover, which is what the pogo pins are for.
Will you be doing a follow-up video showing the cover working with the V6? A review seems incomplete with out doing so - like reviewing an iPad while ignoring the optional Magic Keyboard.
It is not considered incomplete because we didn't show an optional accessory, no.
And we do not have that accessory on hand, therefore we will not be showing it as it was not included in the review package from the company

I take it the case with the page turn buttons is not the one shown during the unboxing video. Too bad, I really want to see how well it works. Will the accessory be available anytime soon? I’m currently looking for an 8” e-reader with page turn buttons and google play, and the V6 really caught my attention.
Good E-Reader may want to update the product page for this device, listing the case as a optional accessory. While the page says the V6 comes with (only) a pen, from the photos one could be led to believe that the fancy case is included.

I’ve been doing some digging, and while there’s now cover listed for the V6, it looks just like the cover for the S6 and S6 Color. Since the V6 is based on the S6 Lite, I’m guessing it may be compatible.

So i don’t watch every single review. But once awhile I check in cuz am looking for a better color e-ink reader. And you cutting this review short made me really disappointed.

I agree. It’s understandable that Good E-Reader doesn’t want to be repeating the same stuff over and over again, but it leaves a new viewer disappointed by the lack of information.
