Samesies- ideally inpatient rehab for me. We’ll see what happens though- I don’t currently have anything lined up

Abstracts were always the worst to write for me even though they're the shortest thing lol

You have to sun so much up in such little space- not an easy feat at all!

hiii what volunteer or work experience do you recommend for someone that’s currently still in undergrad and wants some experience on their resume for grad school volunteer + work hrs ! 🩷
one of the graduate program i want to apply to requires :
“ Documentation of a minimum of 50 hours of work or volunteer experience in at least two different delivery systems, demonstrating exposure to and understanding of the occupational therapist’s role.”
im currently volunteering at a pediatric clinc ! with several OT’s 🩷and i was wondering if getting a job as a rehab aide ( i would have to get my BLS certification) would be a good option for me next ! to get experience

Good work being in top of this! I think being a rehab aide is a great way to get really good experience, I would look for something in an inpatient rehab or a hospital, since it sounds like you’re already logging pediatric outpatient hours. You’ll need your BLS while in school anyways, so it’s worth it to get (and you never know when CPR could save a life)
A lot of my peers continued to work as rehab aides PRN (as needed) during OT school too!

@@sandradoingstuffThank you so much ! Many of my local hospitals are hiring for a rehab aide and i would love to get some experience in this environment. so that’s what truly sparked my interest in the hospital environment!
Thank you so much for the advice ! 🩷
