:D I know what you mean ... I remember that I was a little puzzled to see the beginning of the game, with its puzzle-adventure elements, after spending so much time playing the demo (I think it was the Norway flight mission)
Strange… I had a 486SX 25, and I’m pretty sure that I played Cyberia on it. Also the min specs on the box talks about a 386SX. Being an FMV game, it shouldn’t be very demanding, its performance are more dependant on the cd-rom drive speed than the CPU… I had a 2X cd-rom drive, maybe you had a 1X drive?
Loved this game as a teen. Gotta play this again!
