Gday Becks, great sessions mate. I've always rescued GSD's. Your methods have helped heaps. Your realistic no BS training of humans is great. Keep putting the vids out, your saving lots of dogs from the needle. Thankyou.
OMG I am so glad you put this up! It's like you just jumped into our home to find out what we needed to see. We have just got our second euro doberman, she's 4 months old and barks sometimes at strangers and dogs and is very timid (compared to our male doberman who we got at 4 months old this has been a real surprise as he has always been a very confident, friendly dog). Thank you soooo much, I binge watch all your videos, you have helped us out tremendously
Great way to redirect and shape behavior as you lead being the boss of a young puppy. Great imprinting on a young dogs personality. Love how you recognize how it can manifest into a problem as pups approach different growth phases. Love your training!
I used to go to dog shows with my Mom all the time as a kid and teen. I figured out if I stood outside the Great Dane show ring I could stare at the Danes and they would all start barking. They just don't like being stared at. Hilarious to a kid.
This is great stuff! Thank you for the helpful videos. I recently got a Maltipoo [ Rose ] a year ago and I didn’t know the first thing about a dog yet along training one. Your videos have given me some what of an idea with your great tips and techniques! Thank you again!
Excellent video Joel! Thanks. My latest rescue dog (we think 4 yo APBT) is exactly like this guy. So far he’s loved everyone except my dad. 🤷♀️ Of course my dad (getting close to 80 years old) is a bit nervous about a dog that weighs about half what he does barking at him. But… we (my husband and I) have been able to handle him without a squeak since day one. Taking stuff he shouldn’t be eating out of his mouth, whatever). He knows my dad is nervous of him, so that makes him even more nervous. I’m going to muzzle train him, then have my dad walk up to him like a boss. He would have done this naturally years ago, but now… not so much.
Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad the owners are doing something so young so they don't have a huge dog that doesn't like people or dogs. Please share progress with him.
Damn 4mo great Dane is already as big as fully grown intact doberman.. never will not be crazy to me😂
Boldness mixed with fear, make dog deal with the fear. This is where I'm at, but with a three+ year old. thanks for the tutoring!
Thanks for this. Would love to see more videos on different contexts for barking.
An 80 lb 4 month old pup. Oh lord.

This is EXACTLY the video I needed - thank you! Yet again, Beckman's Dog Training comes through with useful real world information!
Yeah this fear needs to be addressed as in time it can turn into aggression. This pup has a long way ahead and needs to be desensitized properly.
4 months, whew, big guy! Didn’t bark at camera person when you left. Beautiful. Each time you came back in his tail was less tucked under. Great sign
Barking at you in your house. Interesting.

Could you make your audio louder? I need to put my volume at 100% to actually hear you. Thanks from an old man!
