Did you think any of these movie injuries were real, or surprised by them?
Pee pee poo poo
It's all about dedication.
How to kill peoples when a nuclear power Bank in to a nuclear weapon.
Tom cruises was definitely real
My guy please bring back the time zone thing in the description
Why is Tom Cruise so low? He broke his ankle, Fred Astaire got hit with beads.
Call me crazy, but it looks like a different take was used in the trailer, as his right foot doesnt touch the building in the final shot. Also, theres a spot that looks like a cut was hidden when an obstacle passes the camera (18:10) and Tom's face in no longer visible as the camera has moved behind him.
Because TC is an idiot.
If they had started off with something lame then people would have be less inclined to keep watching. It's the hook.
Stallone also broke his back filming Expendables, but at least the getting waxed made the list..how lame!!!!!!!
I was thinking the same thing
The fact that Quinten Tarantino wanted to choke that actress himself for the scene seems kinda creepy to me...
Thank god someone commented this already
He also choked Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Vol. 1 with a chain.
That’s just swee ol’ Tarantino
quinten choked her AND zoomed in on her feet for that scene, im calling sus
@@thewoahzard its kinda obvious he has a foot fetish there's feet zooms in like all of his movies lmao
Watching Leo glance at his sliced hand after taking his seat and sneering at it in disdain without ever missing a beat in the scene was just magical. It's one of my favorite scenes of his, ever.
same. when I saw the movie I could tell he actually injured himself.
That's why he's Leonardo DiCaprio
My mom & dad used to remind me that as talented as Fred was, to remember that everything he did, Ginger had to backwards, & in heels.
Thats an amazing point. I never forget that.
Hi there how are you I just want to add a little that I am in love with Italy I don't know why Italian culture, people, beauty and even Italian old streets and structures. I am from Pakistan and I never visited Italy but its from my inside

Noone going to say anything about that poor woman in the horror movie? Her back is affected for years now even after she asked to be protected. Sad :(
Is no one going to say anything about Quentin Tarantino not being ok with just fake choking someone ....that he LITERALLY wanted to choke Diane. He’s toxic as hell
that scream makes me grimace
@Matteo Dura Does it matter? He fucking choked her lol
Liz to make it authentic. I’m sure Christoph Waltz didn’t want to. The actress could’ve said no too.
That's workplace harassment. She likely won that court case and so help me God if she didn't
the problem of being actor suffering for real is that the crew, instead of helping you, will stand there applauding your performance
Same kinda thing with people of the public recording a violent event with a cell phone instead of helping.
So u like queen?
It's hard to tell the difference between acting and legitimate danger, especially if the legitimate danger is because of a part of acting
@@flarethefolf78 this is why safewords exist
@@flarethefolf78 that’s why there should be hand signals.
One serious omission... Margaret Hamilton (the Wicked Witch of the West) was seriously burned during an exit from Oz scene which involved shooting flames that fired too soon before she dropped down a hatch. After considerable hospitalization and burn treatment she refused to do any more stunts involving shooting flames.
Every single cast member of Wizard of Oz went through terrible abuse and injuries, iirc Dorothy died very young do to an overdose, the drug she was forced to take during filming
It’s because the actual scene we see isn’t the one she was burned in. We see the first take they tried, when that went well they wanted to do a second try just to be safe. That second take is the one that she was injured in which they didn’t use.
@@spacejesus6581 . “Dorothy “ didn’t die. That was a character. The actress was Judy Garland. Yes, she did die of a drug overdose, but she was 47. By that age, nobody forced her to take drugs. She was not a young child when she died.
Theres a whole difrent video to the messed up stuff from the filming of the wizard of oz buddy
@@susanmetz9892 You should read into Garland's whole story. Getting swept up in addiction or traumatic events early in life makes it infinitely more difficult to get clean, and Judy Garland was abused and coerced to take these drugs for the benefit of her film career. Couple that with our society's historically uneducated and borderline cruel stance on addicts, there was simply no support system to help her break free. Saying "nobody forced her to take drugs" later on in life is a rather ignorant take here.
#4 Jackie Chan... Everything he's ever filmed....
In one of his movies he had a concussion from one of his stunts he did that had him falling from a tree. He almost died from it.
it shows how dedicated of a actors he is

He's always been one of my top 10 favorite actors. Anything I've seen him in has been nothing but amazing.
@@NX-gw7wg Same! Love Jackie chan!
That scene with Jackie Chan should be number 1; I mean the whole list should be about Jackie Chan.
That is literally what I was going to comment...and I didn't even watch the video yet
Was an intense scene.
Word
Agreed
LOTR is number one. Jackie Chan should have been 2.
Tarantino's worst injury was allowing Uma Thurman to drive a car into a tree in Kill Bill instead of a stuntman and she really, really got messed up
#2 would be the broken nose jail scene in Natural Born Killers! When Tom Sizemore yells "you bitch, you broke my f*****g nose" he wasn't acting!
She told him she didn’t want to do it and he ignored her. Kind of reminded me of Hitchcock punishing women who wouldn’t sleep with him.
"Quentin Tarantino himself strangled Krueger", and that was when she couldn't breathe because Quentin Tarantino is no actor.
Tarantino is a monster
First injury, Tom Cruise bends his foot all the way back shattering his ankle jumping between buildings.
Second injury, Fred Estaire makes contact with a sleeve.
Honorable mention: guy breaks two ribs and an elbow
Yeah but Ginger Rodgers used to to eat raw onions and garlic before their dance scenes. Surely that counts for something?
matt rickard is this true? If so was it on purpose to torture him? You hear Hollywood stories like that all the time.
@troll randon You're kidding right? Tom Cruise breaking his ankle at #1 like every single thing Jackie Chan does couldn't end his life if even one thing goes wrong and having "just a few broken bones" is considered lucky?
Steve Carrell - How could you leave out that the lady doing the waxing had NO IDEA what she was doing? He got blood spots because she failed to apply the wax properly.
Yes its because Tarantino had a "specific vision in mind"... totally not a fetish.
That one totally creeped me out!!!!!
that made me uncomfortable for sure
Right he just wanted to do that...
That was the weirdest one on the list, like... why did he need to actually choke her? It doesn't sit well with me.
I was choked like that by an abusive ex & am still traumatized by it so I guarantee that actress is as well. I can't describe how much that actually hurts!
Quentin Tarantino actually CHOKING someone out for the sake of a stupid scene is toxic and dangerous af like wth
Moral of the Story: never act in a Tarantino movie.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are Hollywood stars who refuse to work with him over that kind of extreme behavior.
@@cajayson8301 he probably does autoerotic asphyxiation
he never choked her out.
Another noose mess up that nearly killed an actor: Brendan Fraser in The Mummy. During the hanging scene at the beginning, the far-away shots were done by a stuntman, but the close-up shots were Brendan Fraser, who was actually in an asphyxia. He was standing on the balls of his feet and when they cut him down, he landed wrong and gouged a cut into the back of his calf. The scar is still there, says Brendan Fraser.
(This was all stated on the Brendan Fraser commentary of The Mummy)
ya gotta get your definitions straight. when you say "the injury wasn't debilitating but led to a lifetime of..." then yes, the injury was debilitating. That poor woman has chronic pain for the rest of her life from a director putting her at risk
Not only her either.....from the contraption made to lurch and jump linda blair off the bed, linda Blair suffered multiple back injuries including fractures!

I figured the dude playing Jesus Christ, who was struck by lightning, whipped twice, allergic reaction to his makeup, and a dislocated shoulder would get number one. I think SOMEBODY was NOT happy with their portrayal. 😂😂

I can't believe Fred got on the list when Ginger literally danced until her white shoes were pink with blood.

His movies are annoying and weird and he is a very strange person.
In the Wizard of Oz - When the Wicked Witch disappears through the smoke in Munchkinland, she suffered 2nd degree burns on her face and 3rd degree burns on her hands.
And she had an allergic reaction to the body paint, burning sensations of all types. It's no wonder water was her weakness.

Tomoson King 👁👄👁 k
I don’t understand how Viggo breaking two toes is “way more intense” than Tom breaking his foot?
The reaction and scream was more intense and had a better impact on the scene he was doing. Why as Tom only had the real reaction of stumbling in ACTUAL pain, Viggo's created a powerful, crazy emotional result. His also looked more painful on screen.
First injury, Tom Cruise bends his foot all the way back shattering his ankle jumping between buildings.
Second injury, Fred Estaire makes contact with a sleeve.
I think they took into account the impact on scenes maybe? There were a few injuries from LOTR. Viggo even getting sucked down underwater and almost drowning in a river shot, though I don't think they used those shots.
whoah an ant good point
Yes, and I do believe he also busted a tooth.
How Jackie Chan only has one spot on this list BLOWS my mind and just BLOWS.
I loved leo's Improv when he cut his hand on the glass, then to rub it all over the actors face 😂👏 wasnt scripted but it really made the scene ngl. Really showed his characters absolutely disrespect against his slaves.
I just looked this up because I thought the actress deserved a shout for enduring this and also staying in character. However, apparently Leo was already patched up and they used fake blood for the face smear. Honestly, it would have been pretty f'd up if he actually improved that, with real blood, without the actresses consent.
Or perhaps Leo's he's such an evil person
You could see in Jake Gyllenhaal’s eyes that he did not mean to shatter that cabinet

There's a scene in "Sleuth" in which Lawrence Olivier's character sweeps a display shelf clear of glassware. In doing so, one of the items broke and sliced his hand. You can see him flinch, look briefly at his hand, then continue with his lines as though nothing had happened.
Thought she was about to say the girl in The Exorcist was actually possessed by Satan
Imagine watching and everything is normal then out of nowhere Satan possesses someone
Rocco Siffredi no shit I’m talking about the actual actress being possessed by Satan irl tf
Rocco Siffredi zozo don’t you mean pazuzu
Actually, Linda Blair was a very nice girl and she pretty much had no idea what she was doing in that movie.
*"Ohh!! Kelly Clarkson!!"*
Kills me every time lol! 😂😂😂
Gotta admire Sly, he turned his speech impediment into an asset. First Blood one of the best movies ever made. That scene where he jumps from the cliff using the tree to break his fall, WOW he did that 3 times to get the right shot, a real bad ass!
Or insane person
Lol or a "Karen"
I knew of the Viggo Mortensen one before I clicked this, and I clicked wanting to see if it was here. Was so surprised and stoked to see it in #1 spot!
Mirror: exists
Actors: oh no you don't!
Actors be like *smack!* fk outa here
I’m impressed!
mmkay, we all know and love Viggo's toe break. but you can't honestly sit there and tell me that jackie chan's entire body of work isn't badass enough to get him #1.
They actually gave him his own list of his top 10 injuries.
That scene in 40 year old virgin was hilarious
"Sheen was actually drunk during this scene . . "
Charlie:"That's my dad!!"
And boy was their dad fine ass fuck in that scene
I learned from the best...
😁😁
and this video is a really good example of "do everything for content"
Incredibly committed actors, and just great in everything - Viggo Mortenson, Jim Caviezel, Jackie Chan, and the American legend, Tom Cruise.
