People talk about "fast hands" when it comes to boxers like Canelo, Bivol, Andy Ruiz, etc. However, Wilder has incredibly fast hands. This knockout almost didn't look like it would faze Ortiz because it was so fast. In slow motion, you can see the speed and power behind it. Well done, Wilder. That was amazing.

Wilder set him up with the jabs so Ortiz could bite and he did, wilder then moved Ortiz to his range and instead of going with the looping right he went straight down the barrel and Ortiz blocked high thinking the punch was coming to the side but it came straight through the guard. Wilder actually prefers to fight going backwards. But it's a slow backward creep he likes to do, with minor adjustments to his wide stance feet, always trying to time a jump forward with the straight right when an opponent comes after him carelessly. What he can't do is fight going backwards quickly. When he can't just adjust his feet backwards, and instead has to take steps, it suddenly looks very disorganised.
