    Is the sternum strap removable without tampering with the backpack?

      Yeah it is. You slide it all the way up the rail, and then you can wiggle it out

      I have the same question, is the sternum strap removable without tampering with the backpack?

    I'm upset cause I just got the Aer Day Pack 2 approximately 3 weeks ago.

      Day Pack 2 is still a good backpack and I got the X-Pack version.
      The only thing I like about the new version is that it has a hidden pocket for an AirTag.

      Update: Since the Day Pack 2 is now $43 cheaper since I bought mine. Aer refunded me the difference after I reached out to them.

      Tech Pack is essentially a Day Pack with a separate laptop compartment. It's been like that from the very beginning

    • @DaveStern2
      @DaveStern2 Před 3 měsíci

      the tech pack 3 is also slightly larger than the day pack (primarily in the main section)

    What are the main difference compared to Aer Day Pack 2?

    • @gundam0816
      @gundam0816 Před 3 měsíci

      DP2 is 14.8L vs DP3 14L. (Seems like a downgrade here)
      DP3 added a side handle, added a smart tag pocket, added a sleeve to the front compartment, but removed the d-ring on the strap, removed the mesh pocket on the front compartment.

    • @microzal
      @microzal Před 3 měsíci

      Do you think reducing 0.8L for exhange of that, plus improving harness, and widen the front & main compartment opening is worth it compared than DP2 ?

    • @gundam0816
      @gundam0816 Před 3 měsíci

      @@microzal honestly, the changes feel like a downgrade. They took away more features, but added so little, and also the dp2 and dp2 xpac is super reduced price now on their website. I can't decide 😫

      @@gundam0816 I would get the DP2 in Xpac on sale. I love Xpac or maybe an Able Carry day pack :)
