I'm a fan of your movies and I don't think have missed any episode of Samu alajo. Egbon well done sir, but I have a contrary opinion to this movie. The woman should not be blamed rather should be encouraged. That act is rape and should be totally condemned. Many are there in the street carrying unwanted pregnancy because of rape and other unfortunate circumstances. Should we then reject and abuse them because of that? Sir as you said almost everybody is frustrated in one way or the other. Have seen people loosing to suicide because those that should encourage and embrace them, reject them. A kind word will save a soul. Kudos to you sir and all the crew. I love you sir

I don't like this episode.Its not morally impactful to demoralize someone in a pathetic situation.Saamu making fun,and pouring her insulting ones can lead to suicide.All I learnt is to abuse ,make fun of a person in bad situation or help spread bad news of the person to the community. This is the worst episode I’ve watched. So even if she got pregnant out of wedlock, it’s now okay for people to go about mocking her?
What kind of lesson is this episode meant to teach? If you’re trying to teach people to watch what they say to strangers, fine then that makes sense. But you’re also saying that she should have allowed the man continue harassing the young girl? Or that it was okay for everyone around to ridicule and mock her? Or it’s okay for her to be raped because the man’s ego was bruised?
Please make it make sense. You turned a victim of a crime is a matter of mockery and everyone here is laughing and clapping?

This is what makes young people around commit suicide and fall into depression. They make a mistake and instead of people to help and encourage them. We go about mocking and insulting them like we’re perfect and we have never had our share of mistakes. We would rather laugh and smile at the embarrassment of someone else than get up to help them, even when some decide to help, it’s out of spite, just so they laugh at them closer. Smh
Exactly my point too. The illustration was too insensitive and basically created more harm than good. Pregnancy is a sensitive issue and should not be played lightly with. People commit suicide Over it when they have no support system. And how come there was no punishment for the man????? I feel like the episode was not well thought out. Or maybe there is a follow up. But I still think using pregnancy to pass the message is insensitive. Not to talk of the incessant subduing of women. Anyways, what do I know?

In fact the issue of Suicide and mental health was downplayed. We all make mistakes ..Gbariye,s suicidal attempt should have been seriously handled...mocking an unwed pregnant woman was also downplayed as if the others are saints and don't make mistakes. The massage could have been passed in a better way without downplaying suicide, mental health, and unwed mothers.
