A little joke is far too high for you, and you mean that the Egyptians had the same equipment, only that this is scaled up. Do I understand you correctly? The animations of tunnel boring machines were not Bertha but actually the London Crossrail TBMs. You can tell this because they have "Crossrail" labels on the cutting faces and the animation zooms in on the London Crossrail project. :-)
TBMs are always impressive but the notability of Bertha is just how big she is. The Crossrail TBMs are 140 metres long and 7.1 metres across (similar to the bore size of the Dartford Tunnels, for a handy reference point), Bertha is 99 metres long and 17.5 metres across, so more than twice the diameter. Incredible.

And component upkeep/service life of all those wheel hubs? And it would be slower to load than Liebherr’s ‘conventional’ T282 with anything other than a wheel loader or conveyor (which would require the driver to adjust truck position, or conveyor to slew) and only holds 50t more.
Hey what.... Liebherr have a T284? Hmm, didn’t know that.
That green truck would/could be beneficial on sites that only remove thin strips and have large travel distances between the loading area and the tipping area.... (iron ore, bauxite etc etc)
But not so much on sites that mine resources further down from natural surface (Coal, Gold/Copper etc etc.)
Edit: I do this for a living and have done for the last 14 odd yrs. This truck was proposed back in 2008 I believe. The Liebherr T282/T284 is still arguably king. Or CAT 797/795...
One truck that holds promise is the ex-Euclid that Hitachi have bought and re-engineered.
And diggers? My favourite is a well configured and serviced Hitachi 3600-6 (or Komatsu PC1250) BUT the Liebherr 9800 is Undisputed king of the Diesels/Hydraulic Excavators.
Bout time we had a high track dozer to surpass the CAT D11T.... common CAT, wheres a D12 to keep up with a fleet of 350t-450t Haul Trucks? Your current D11 is lighter than old models and does not bulk material like an RIII or even an N, and these where around when 180t-240t trucks where king and 500t-650t Excavators where the norm.
I would like to see a quad track D12 that can out bulk a Komatsu 575 Super Dozer please. With the eradication of tailings dams, dump faces have shrunk considerably yet payloads have increased and cycle times have been reduced, (on sites that do not cripple themselves) meaning Dozer work is RAPIDLY becoming the bottleneck and having to push limits and focus 110% on time management means the risk of accidental errors being made has increased exponentially.

Then ever wheel can have a motor maximizing traction, eliminating the gear box, and vastly simplifying maintenance while further increasing modularity. Additionally, mining trucks usually go up a hill and back down the same hill repeatedly. During that an EV truck can use regen so it only needs power for the way up.
