Sweet bro. I got the max 5 combo in your old dbxl and it rips hard. Clocked it at like 53mph and you know how heavy that dbxl you had and all the aluminum on it. I was having some trouble last time with it almost going into limp mode where it was at 50% power and esc flashing red. I need to get it back out and test it. Pinion came loose. If I still have problems with it if you wanted to earn some side money Nezzy and also get some nostalgia running your old dbxl if you wanted to take a look at it. If not no big deal. We still need to bash at the pit! I saw your invitation last time to late and have been really busy but my schedule is lightening up around the 4th if you want to hang buddy
How did this system work out for you? I bought the same thing and on first power up I bound the controller and was setting the throttle points and the esc started smoking then burst into flames. Hobbywing pretty much told me to pound sand because I bought it off Amazon
