how is it for photos i need a good way to take photos remotely while using my phone as a monitor so i can be in the photos as i travel alone 95% of the time
If you experience lag, change the Live View Quality from "high" to "low" and it should solve the issue. Furthermore, using a higher-quality cable will result in better video quality and reduced lag. When I switch from a regular phone cable to a cable with display support, it works perfectly fine.
I am using an iPad with a Sony a7iii, for some reason when I start recording I only get 15fps, but when I’m not recording I get 30fps in the live view feed. Anyone have any fixes to get the frames up when recording?
@@sigsauer9439 I believe its because of the USB C cable. I don't think anything with a lightning cable will work. What i just ended up doing was buying the monitor. Its only like 100 bucks and its way better then having to use an app.
@@sigsauer9439 I ended up picking up a feelworld monitor off amazon. Nothing fancy, but it works great, and the battery is usb c charging so nice and easy and lasts a long time.
@@jsyntaxmedia I've tried to get 2 different Samsung tablets to work with Monitor+. Any tips? They were the galaxy tab a7 lite and the galaxy tab a 8 inch. I don't think it's a cable issue either as the same cables work fine with my Samsung smartphone. Have you gotten any smaller tablets to work with the app?
Be aware if you buy for iPhone you CANNOT use on your iPad at the same time, I cannot even figure out how to switch from my iPhone to use it on my iPad. There are NO instructions..
To turn on PC mode, you have to turn off face/eye priority in AF which messes up the focus
Not to be judge mental but it seem a bit slow for it being a wired connection

How to connect with use c?
I use manual lenses and tether to pc... this is awesome but doesn't fit my work flow. Maybe better for making my CZcams videos.
