Flex, I will not lie as someone who speaks Dutch very well the English media and CZcamsrs or any one doing the translations are doing a disservice by translating what he said wrongly. When i moved here it was difficult for me to get the humor, or the way they speak, translating word for word in English is never the same sentence 😂, when he speaks at the interviews or press conferences I get what he means a lot of time while y’all from England get angry, which is funny to watch. Being able to communicate clearly and concisely is a skill in itself. It shouldn't be a case of "I get what he's trying to say", look at how top managers speak, they leave no room for interpretation

@@christhewolf4246 Eriksen is done and should av never even arrived at OT and has been awful this year and injured but the Glazers luv their freebies - Arsenal wouldn't take him Liverpool wouldn't and definately not City...standards need to be higher in order to compete.

Where did arteta want him to play? A LB. Who did he get instead? Zinchenko (LB).
Where does Gvardiol and Ake regularly play? Fullbacks.
Where does Arteta want Timber to play? As a fullback.
Martinez is too short to be a CB and too good as a defender also good with the ball and driving forward. His perfect role would be a LB that inverts and gets into midfield.

@@michaelchallinor1665 if you get a defensive lineup of martinez (LB), Brainthwite (LCB), Todibo (RCB) and Dalot (RB). That is formidable.
Also forget martinez inverting, dalot can do that. In possession you would have 3 at the back (martinez/brainthwite/todibo) just like arsenal's gabriel/saliba/white trio when zinchenko gets into midfield.

If you need somone more attacking minded...no problem put on shaw as LB and do whatever you sit martinez out. This is called versatility.
Hopefully we are changing the mindset from 'we have to get the best player' to 'we have to get the best player who costs less than £50M and wages less than £200K'.
