Last year, they become the third artist with the most awards in the world after Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift.
How interesting - I am from US and in my mid 40’s. I am only now learning this award statistic as it relates to Tailor Swift because of BTS. I suppose we like what we like, but I am still now wondering why I have never had the interest to listen to any of her songs!?…
@@CVnhuim from the philippines and ts is also hyped up in the philippines, im not a fan of her but im a solid BTS army, and never liked any of her songs. But to different strokes for different folks i guess were not her folks though i loved so many female artists in the US before her.
The MAMA's stand for the Mnet Asian Music Awards. BTS has over 300 songs so ya it will be awhile before you run out of songs to listen to.
Lol 😅 it’s more like over 500+ songs including the unreleased ones.
3 of my top fav artists are dead and one just died last yr after their only second album. it makes me so happy to see a band that feeds their fans so well. ~500 songs feels like paradise.

Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others...
Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust.
The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted.
In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee)
Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age.

I became Army in 2020, and their lyrics and great personalities have gotten me through so much.
I really enjoyed your reaction. I recommend watching all of their Run BTS variety show episodes. They’re so hilarious. It’s another awesome way to get to know their personalities, and recognize each member. They change hair colors and styles with each new song, called a comeback so it really helped me to watch the guide to the members as you’re doing, AND watch their variety show.
At present they won over 1000 awards with 41 + million fans/ARMYS ( acronym for ADORABLE REPRESENTATIVE MC FOR YOUTH) worldwide.

when you really enter BTS's life sincerely and understand all their hard work which maybe not everyone will be able to face, believe me you will get a lot of love from us the army and you will get a lot of support from us

@@melvinprakasa did you ever watch the video from boracity on people who use BTS for views, and are not sincere. I have a strong feeling these guys could be that. boracity does lots of really good videos. They are from the same group that did The White Papers on the problem between Japan and Korea during WW@ and how horrible Japan was to S. Korea.
@@LPnerd Yes, I know that many people have made videos about BTS, but they don't do it sincerely just to increase their viewers and audience, it's really very cruel, in fact I watched a lot of reactions where many of the videos were cut and compared BTS with other groups, so there were lots of bad comments. about BTS, all of us in the army are not stupid, we know which ones are truly sincere and which ones only want to use BTS, they have to know that we in the army will love anyone sincerely except those people who are masked in front of the screen and behind the screen

Thank you so much for your reaction! you have so much to learn about BTS, so many videos to watch, their dance practices, their concerts, etc... They are all so talented and very humble. I have seen people's reactions to this documentary hundreds of times and I never get tired of it, it makes me proud as an ARMY to see the reactions of people around the world to our boys. They are just admirable. I look forward to seeing you comment on the rest of this very well prepared document by Taylor. I know some army will hate you did it in parts, but I like when people do it in parts. People retain the info a lot better and actually learn. It’s alot of info 💜 appreciate you guys for genuinely trying to get to know the boys 💜 also it be fun to see you guys react to “bts doesn’t know green screen” cause I seen a few of your videos and you question stuff … you’d be surprised what isn’t green scene they rally go through it 😂

There´s good news and better news: 1. There is no bad song from BTS so whaterever you listen to it is gonna be fire. 2. There is so much content: albums, solo songs, solo albums, mixtapes, variety shows (Run BTS has hundreds of chapters, then In the Soop that has 3 seasons and Von Voyage that I think has 4 seasons) that you can spend years watching it and it is never ending. That is why we called it a rabbit hole. Thene ther is the BTS universe with their own storyline running through albums, webtoons..... Then all their collabs with amazing artists. Then Suga has his own show Suchwita whwrw he is the MC and invites artists, like a talkshow, then we have hubdreds of lives on V Live and now on weverse. They have amazing music created specifically for their own game BTS World. They have some Original Soundtracks for fantastic K Dramas, their BT21 characters (animated characters) that have youtube cartoons..................
7:00 thats their variety show RUN BTS! Essentially just 20-50min long vids of them doing diff challenges/games. there's a bunch of fandom faves that'll get recced, but imo a lot of eps are funnier AFTER you know the members and their inside jokes well and their early eps/chronologically.....well it took them some time to get comfortable and funny, so it gets better in the later ones😭
With that being said the eps(the theme usually gets split over 2/3 eps so u gotta watch multiple eps) id recommend for newbies are :
Ep 33+34 : manito eps. MUST WATCH😭
Mini field day pt1+2 - its their most recent episode before their break, just them doing a bunch of sports indoors. them playing soapy football is😭
Ep 126-27 : they just gotta complete a bunch of basic party games to leave, their growing frustration is so😭
Them trying to cook(fyi they have a total of 2.5 cooks between them) : Ep 122/123 and Ep 102/103
Their short trips/team buiding outings :
eps83/84/85 [FUN WATER PARK ESQUE EPISODES] funniest eps after manito eps.
eps 69/70/71 basically them ticking off a itinerary of games/tasks on their Toronto trip. its hilarious and also good insight into their personalities.
ep 53/54/55/56 same as the toronto eps, just them doing tasks/games whilst on tour. These eps shouldn't ne as funny as they are but their dynamic is naturally hilarious so its fun to watch.
id say watch these for sure, but only after you understand the members a bit(for their inside jokes and teasings) and If you like spy/mafia style episodes -

After you finish the guide reaction, you should really do live performances. BTS is so much better live. I really recommend MAMA 2018 and 2019. Also a medley for Dope x Baepsae x Fire x Run (it’s my favourite concert performance. And since you enjoy the rappers you should do Outro: Tear live, it’s amazing.
Guys, watch the live concert at MAMA 2019 and 2020! AMAZING. 💜💜💜💜 They lived together for 8/9 years.

Everyone thinks this will be a long video, but it goes fast. Yes, I do wish you would have done it as one, but that's your choice. Just so you know we are used to longer video and it's best to do it in one go as the more parts you do it in the less people will pick up the next part especially if you do it in 4 parts. Also just another point to help you guys we like to follow along with Taylor's embedded captions but your screen a bit small for us to read along with you so you might want to consider making the screen bigger, hope that helps.
ARMY loves watching long videos so don't worry about creating parts for us. In fact, when you react to a song there is the original MV, the dance practice, the live versions, the explanation video for the song, etc.....you get my point. We will watch all of that in one video. Just so you know.
5:00 not late night show, that came wayyy later for them😭😭 that free concert clip was from back in 2014, they werent popular yet and were in US to shoot a variety show for a korean channel AND they had an upcoming concert, so they went out for it(and it got recorded)
Something to keep in mind. Their ages are reported as their Korean ages. They were actually 1-2 years younger when starting out. Look at their birthdays.

I agree though, I've seen this many times but I like to watch along with a new reacter. I am really not a fan of channels that have the video the size of a small postage stamp, and the reacters themselves 80% of the screen. It's helpful to maybe have it the other way around...even 1/2 and 1/2.
